District Court Balasore Junior Clerk/Copyist Recruitment 2026 - 7 Posts

The Office of the District Judge, Balasore, Odisha has invited applications from Group-D employees including Process Servers for filling up 7 Junior Clerk/Copyist positions. Selection Process

The selection is based on a three-stage process with a total of 445 marks:

How to Apply

  2. Fill in the application form (Form-A) in your own handwriting with all required details including your marks in HSC, +2, and +3 examinations.
  3. Attach two self-signed recent colour passport-size photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Officer. One photo goes on the application form in the space provided.
  4. Attach self-attested photocopies of all required certificates and mark sheets (Matric, +2, +3, DCA, caste certificate if applicable).
  5. Get two character certificates from two different Gazetted Officers, Medical Practitioners, or Sarpanch.
  6. Fill and attach the Self-Declaration form (Annexure-I) for authentication of certificates.

  • Prepare certified copies of court orders, judgments, and other legal documents as requested by parties.
  • Assist in typing and formatting court orders, summons, warrants, and other official correspondence.
  • Keep registers and maintain records of cases, including daily cause lists and case status updates.
  • Work on computer systems for data entry, case management software, and digital record keeping.
  • Follow court procedures for receiving and dispatching official mail, documents, and notices.
  • Assist judicial officers and senior staff in day-to-day administrative and clerical tasks.
  • Manage correspondence between the court and litigants, advocates, and other government offices.
