District Mission Management Unit (DMMU), Paschim Medinipur has released a notification for Sangha Coordinator, CLF Accountant & MIS, CSP-Bank Linkage, and CSP-Livelihood posts across 211 Sangha Cooperatives in Paschim Medinipur district of West Bengal. Only women who are active SHG members can apply for these positions. The last date to submit your application is 30 April 2026. Monthly salary ranges from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 8,000 depending on the post, plus allowances.
DMMU Paschim Medinipur Multi-Post Recruitment 2026
The District Mission Management Unit (DMMU), Paschim Medinipur works under the Anandadhara programme, which is West Bengal's implementation of the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM). This recruitment covers four different staff and cadre positions at the Sangha Cooperative (Block-level federation of SHGs) level. All positions are open exclusively to women who are existing Self-Help Group (SHG) members in Paschim Medinipur district. The engagement is on a purely contract basis with yearly renewal possible up to age 60.
Vacancy Details
Vacancies are spread across 211 Sangha Cooperatives in 29 blocks of Paschim Medinipur district. Each cooperative has one or more vacancies for the following posts:
- Sangha Coordinator (SC): Available in select cooperatives. You must be a resident of the same block where the Sangha Cooperative is located.
- CLF Accountant & MIS: 211 posts (one per Sangha Cooperative). You must be from the respective block but from a different GP than the cooperative.
- CSP-Bank Linkage: Available in select cooperatives. You must be from the same Gram Panchayat as the cooperative.
- CSP-Livelihood: Available in select cooperatives. You must be from the same Gram Panchayat as the cooperative.

Who Can Apply?
Common Requirements (All Posts):
- Gender: Only women candidates can apply
- SHG Membership: You must be an active Self-Help Group (SHG) member
- You must not be a family member or relative of BOD or staff/cadres of the Sangha Cooperative
- You must not be a PRI member, office bearer, or government worker
- You must not be working as an ICDS/ASHA/VRP worker or with any government organization/NGO
For Sangha Coordinator:
- Qualification: Graduation (any discipline) from a recognized university
- Computer: Must have completed a 6-month certificate course in computer (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in managing books of SHG and its federations
- SHG Status: Must be a member of an active SHG for the last 3 years, have taken credit at least 2 times, and not be a defaulter
- Residence: Must reside in the same block as the Sangha Cooperative
- Must be proficient in local language and able to read and write English
For CLF Accountant & MIS:
- Qualification: Higher Secondary (12th pass); Commerce graduates preferred
- Computer: Must have completed a 6-month certificate course in computer (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in handling books of accounts of SHG and its federations
- SHG Status: Must be a member of an active SHG for the last 2 years, have taken credit at least 1 time, and not be a defaulter
- Residence: Must be from the respective block, other than the GP of the cooperative
For CSP-Bank Linkage & CSP-Livelihood:
- Qualification: Higher Secondary (12th pass); Graduates from any stream preferred
- SHG Status: Must be a member of an active SHG for the last 2 years, have taken credit at least 1 time, and not be a defaulter
- Residence: Must be from the same Gram Panchayat as the Sangha Cooperative
- Must be proficient in Bengali/Nepali/Hindi and able to read and write English
- Must be conversant with Android mobiles
Desirable for CSP posts: Own two-wheeler and own Android mobile.
Age Limit
- You should be between 21 and 40 years old as on 1 January 2026.
- You can continue in the post till age 60, subject to yearly renewal and satisfactory performance.
Salary
- Sangha Coordinator: Fixed salary of Rs. 7,000 per month + variable component up to Rs. 1,000 (maximum Rs. 8,000/month)
- CLF Accountant & MIS: Fixed salary of Rs. 6,000 per month + variable component up to Rs. 1,000 (maximum Rs. 7,000/month)
- CSP-Bank Linkage: Fixed service charge of Rs. 4,000 per month + variable up to Rs. 1,500 (maximum Rs. 5,500/month)
- CSP-Livelihood: Fixed service charge of Rs. 4,000 per month + variable up to Rs. 1,500 (maximum Rs. 5,500/month)
- Communication Allowance: Rs. 250 per month for all staff/CSPs
- Travel Allowance: Paid on actual basis for travel outside GP
- Training Allowance: Rs. 300 per day for attending training/meetings/workshops outside GP
Other Benefits: Maternity leave with salary for 6 months, coverage under Swasthya Sathi scheme, pension scheme registration, festival allowance up to Rs. 1,000 per year, casual leave (14 days), and medical leave (10 days).
Application Fee
- No application fee is required for any category.
Selection Process
The selection will be done in 3 stages:
- Written Examination: This is the first screening stage. All candidates who submit valid applications will be called for the written exam. The exam will be held centrally. For Sangha Coordinator, it carries 90 marks; for Accountant & MIS, 90 marks; for CSP-Bank Linkage, 80 marks; and for CSP-Livelihood, 80 marks.
- Computer Test & Writing Skill Test: Only shortlisted candidates (based on written exam results) move to this stage. The computer test is conducted centrally. Writing Skill Test applies to Sangha Coordinator (30 marks) and Accountant (20 marks) posts only.
- Interview: 10 marks for all posts. This is the final stage before the merit list is prepared.
For Sangha Coordinator & Accountant: Total marks = Written Exam + Writing Skill Test + Computer Test + Interview (90+30+20+10 = 150 for SC; 90+20+30+10 = 150 for Accountant)
For CSP-Bank Linkage & CSP-Livelihood: Total marks = Written Exam + Computer Test + Interview (80+10+10 = 100)
Merit list for CSP-BL and CSP-LH will be prepared Sangha-wise. Merit list for Sangha Coordinator and Accountant will be prepared Block-wise.

Responsibilities
- Monitor the disbursement and use of government funds received by the Sangha Cooperative as per SRLM norms
- Manage daily official operations of the Sangha Cooperative including bookkeeping and financial records
- Prepare monthly activity plans and organise review meetings with the Board of Directors
- Facilitate bank linkage for SHGs and ensure timely availability of credit for members
- Handle on-time portal entry and data quality monitoring in the LoKOS MIS system
- Conduct awareness campaigns and training workshops for SHG members on livelihood activities
- Support SHG members in preparing loan applications and accessing financial services from banks
- Prepare and submit monthly progress reports to BMMU and DMMU
