GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking and India's leading natural gas company, is hiring 2 Full Time Shift Duty Factory Medical Officers on temporary tenure basis for its Occupational Health Centre (OHC) at GAIL Pata, District Auraiya, Uttar Pradesh. This is a contract-based engagement with an initial period of 1 year, extendable up to 3 years based on performance. MBBS doctors with AFIH certification looking for a well-paying industrial health role should consider applying.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a minimum MBBS degree from a recognised university with valid registration from MCI/NMC or a State Medical Council.
• AFIH Certification: You must hold an Associate Fellow of Industrial Health (AFIH) Certificate — this is mandatory.
• Internship: You should have completed your internship.
• Preferred: Candidates with higher qualifications and/or post-qualification work experience will be given preference.
• NOC: If you are currently working in any Central/State Government Department or PSU, you need to submit a No Objection Certificate from your employer at the time of interview.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 56 years.

Salary and Benefits

• Monthly salary: Rs. 1,04,000 with an annual increment of Rs. 3,100.
• Accommodation: Unfurnished residential accommodation at GAIL Township, Pata (subject to availability). The township offers schooling facilities, a club, library, swimming pool, sports and recreational facilities, and a shopping complex.
• Accident Insurance: Personal accident cover of Rs. 12 Lakhs covering disability and medical treatment.
• Health Insurance: Family Floater cover of Rs. 5 Lakhs for indoor treatment for self, spouse, and two dependents (children or parents).
• OPD Expenses: Cost of medicines up to Rs. 1,000 per month for self, spouse, and two dependents.
• TA/DA: Travel and daily allowance payable for field duty or travel to other locations.
• Leave: 12 Casual Leaves and 12 Paid Leaves per calendar year (pro-rata). Compensatory off for extra duty.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Application Screening and Shortlisting: GAIL will screen all applications and shortlist candidates based on qualifications and experience. Candidates with higher qualifications and post-qualification experience will be given preference.
2. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview on a convenient date. Final selection is based on interview performance and document verification.
