Gun Carriage Factory (GCF) Hospital, Jabalpur, operating under the Directorate of Ordnance (Coordination & Services), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced a walk-in interview to hire one MBBS doctor on contract basis. The selected doctor will be posted on Duty Medical Officer (Night) and Family Health Centre (FHC) duties. Who Can Apply?

Contract Terms

• The contract is for 6 months and is purely temporary in nature.
• The contract may be terminated by either side with 7 days' notice.
• A further extension of 6 months may be granted by the competent authority based on satisfactory performance.
• The hired doctor will be posted on DMO (Night) duty and Family Health Centre (FHC). PVR (Previous Verification Report) is mandatory.

• Attend to all regular medical duties that a Medical Practitioner conventionally performs at the factory hospital
• Handle emergencies, disasters, and accident cases as and when they arise
• Perform night shift duties as Duty Medical Officer (DMO) at the hospital
• Provide medical care at the Family Health Centre (FHC) during assigned hours
• Work on Sundays and holidays when required, with a compensatory off the next day
• Maintain patient records and medical documentation as per hospital protocols
• Follow all hospital rules, safety guidelines, and standard operating procedures
