Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad), one of India's premier business schools, has invited applications for 2 Centre Research Fellow positions at the Misra Centre for Financial Markets and Economy. If you are selected, you will work on original, high-quality research on Indian and global financial markets under the guidance of IIMA faculty members. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a PhD in Finance, Accounting, Financial Economics, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
• PhD thesis submitted: If you have submitted your PhD thesis and are awaiting your defence, you may still be considered. However, you must complete your degree within 6 months of joining.
• Research ability: You should have a strong foundation in theoretical and empirical research in finance or accounting, with publications or working papers as evidence.
• Technical skills: You need proficiency in econometric modelling, statistical inference, and quantitative analysis. Working knowledge of software like Stata, R, Python, MATLAB, or EViews is required.
• Data handling: Experience with large-scale financial and macroeconomic datasets is expected.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are needed, along with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative research environment.

Salary

• Salary will be commensurate with your qualifications and experience, as per IIM Ahmedabad norms.
• You will work from the IIMA campus in Ahmedabad, with shared office space, library access, and computing facilities provided.
