MECON Limited, a Premier Miniratna Category-I PSU under the Ministry of Steel, is looking to bring onboard 2 experienced medical professionals at its ISPAT Hospital in Ranchi. If you are a qualified doctor with postgraduate credentials in General Medicine or Critical Care, this is your chance to join one of India's leading engineering consultancy PSUs with an attractive pay package starting at Rs. 60,000 per month.

• Total openings: 2 vacancies (1 General Physician post under UR category, 1 Critical Care Specialist post under OBC-NCL category)
• Posting location: Primarily at ISPAT Hospital, Ranchi, Jharkhand, though candidates should be willing to serve anywhere in India
• Compensation package: Beyond basic pay, you will receive DA on IDA pattern, HRA or subsidized accommodation, Performance Related Pay (PRP), and benefits like PF, Gratuity, GPA, and medical facilities for your family

Selection Process

MECON will shortlist candidates based on the scrutiny of online applications and uploaded documents. Shortlisted candidates will then be called for a Personal Interview. The interview list, along with date, time, and venue details, will be published on MECON's official website and communicated via your registered email. Outstation candidates appearing for the interview are eligible for Travelling Allowance (III Tier AC by rail or Rs. 7 per km by road).

• Matriculation/10th certificate or birth certificate as proof of age
• MBBS degree certificate and all mark sheets (all years/semesters)
• MD/DNB degree certificate and mark sheets for your specialization
• Work experience certificates from all previous and current employers — must clearly show joining date, relieving date, nature of duties, and pay details
• Last 3 months' pay slips from your current employer
• PAN Card and Aadhaar Card — Aadhaar number mismatch will lead to automatic rejection
• Category certificate (OBC-NCL/PwD/Ex-Servicemen) if applicable, in the prescribed Government of India format

• Provide clinical care and medical consultation at ISPAT Hospital, Ranchi
• Manage patient diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care in General Medicine or Critical Care as per specialization
• Handle emergency medical situations and critical care cases
• Participate in medical board assessments and health check-ups for MECON employees and dependents
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare protocols
• Coordinate with other departments for comprehensive patient management
