The Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Government of Jharkhand has released Advertisement No. 03/2025 (HM) dated 06 May 2026 for 29 contractual IT Executive posts under various Medical College and District Hospital programs across the state. These are medical and management professional positions at State, District, and Block level. Only online applications through the official portals will be considered. The contract is for 3 years and does not guarantee absorption into a regular position.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science / IT / ECE / EEE
• OR M.C.A / M.Sc (Computer Science/IT)

Experience

• 5 years of post-qualification experience in IT / Software Development / IT Systems
• Out of which, 2 years as a Project Manager

Required Skills

• Project Management and Project Delivery
• Good team leader skills
• Deep knowledge of programming languages like JAVA, .NET etc.
• Knowledge of testing tools, SDLC, STQC
• Hardware, software, networking, and data centre operations

Domicile

• Candidates from Jharkhand claiming reservation (ST, SC, BC-I, BC-II, EWS) must submit a Caste / EWS Certificate in the prescribed format issued by the competent authority of Jharkhand

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on 01 August 2025.

• General: Maximum 40 years (45 for PH)
• EWS: Maximum 40 years (45 for PH)
• OBC (BC-I & BC-II): Maximum 42 years (47 for PH)
• Female (Unreserved): Maximum 43 years (48 for PH)
• ST/SC: Maximum 45 years (50 for PH)

10th passed certificate / mark sheet, or any other government-approved document, shall be considered as valid age proof.

Salary

• Monthly honorarium: Rs. 60,000 per month
• Contract period: 3 years
• No claim for absorption into a regular position will be entertained

Selection Process

The selection process is based on eligibility verification and screening:
