No. 05/2026 for the engagement of General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) and Specialist Doctors on Fixed Term Employment basis for its hospital at Neyveli. Who Can Apply?

For General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO):

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS degree, or BAMS, or BDS from a recognized university.
• Registration: You must be registered with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or any State Medical Council.
• Experience: No prior experience is required for GDMO posts.

For Specialist Doctor:

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS degree along with MD / MS / DNB / PG Diploma in the relevant specialty.

• Experience: PG Diploma holders in some specialties may need relevant post-qualification experience.

Age Limit

• GDMO: Maximum age is 32 years for UR, 35 years for OBC, and 37 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Specialist Doctor: Maximum age is 36 years for UR, 39 years for OBC, and 41 years for SC/ST candidates.
• Age Relaxation: OBC candidates get 3 years relaxation, SC/ST candidates get 5 years relaxation, and PwBD candidates get 10 years relaxation.
• Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• General Duty Medical Officer (GDMO): You will receive a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 60,000.
• Specialist Doctor: You will receive a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 1,44,760.
• This is a Fixed Term Employment -- the salary is a consolidated amount.

Selection Process

• Attend to outpatient and inpatient cases at NLC India Hospital, Neyveli, and provide timely medical treatment.
