This is a supplementary engagement drive covering four clusters — Mumbai, Bhusawal, Pune, and Solapur — with positions in trades like Stenographer, Fitter, Mason, and Mechanic Refrigeration & AC. If you hold an ITI certificate and want to gain hands-on railway workshop experience, this is your chance.

- Total training slots: 51 across four Central Railway clusters

- No written exam or interview — selection is purely merit-based on your Matriculation and ITI marks
- Application fee: Rs 100 for General/OBC candidates; SC/ST/PwBD/Women candidates are fully exempted
- Eligibility: 10th pass with minimum 50% marks + ITI National Trade Certificate from NCVT or SCVT

The selection process is refreshingly straightforward. RRC Central Railway will prepare a merit list based on the simple average of your percentage marks in Matriculation (all subjects) and ITI (consolidated statement across all semesters). There is no written test, no skill test, and no interview. The final merit list will be prepared cluster-wise, trade-wise, and community-wise. In case of a tie, the candidate with the older age gets preference.
- Keep your mark sheets ready — your Matriculation and ITI marks directly decide your rank, so double-check that your percentage calculations are accurate before filling the form
- Choose your cluster carefully — you can only select one cluster (Mumbai, Bhusawal, Pune, or Solapur), and changes are not allowed after submission
- Match your ITI trade — make sure your National Trade Certificate corresponds to the trade you are applying for in your chosen cluster, or your application will be rejected
- Upload documents in correct format — photograph must be 3.5 x 3.5 cm (JPG, 20-70 KB) and signature must be 3.5 x 3.5 cm (JPG, 20-30 KB)
