Rail Vikas Nigam Limited is a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India. Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You need a B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university approved by AICTE
• Minimum 60% marks or equivalent grade in your engineering degree

Experience

• Relevant post-qualification experience in civil engineering is required for all posts
• Higher posts (Sr. DGM, Manager) need more years of experience than junior posts

Age Limit

• Senior DGM (Civil) — Maximum 48 years
• Manager (Civil) — Maximum 40 years
• Deputy Manager (Civil) — Maximum 35 years
• Assistant Manager (Civil) — Maximum 35 years
• Age relaxation as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates

Salary

All posts follow the IDA (Industrial Dearness Allowance) pay pattern with additional allowances and Performance Related Pay (PRP):

• Senior DGM (Civil) — Rs. 80,000 – 2,20,000 per month
• Manager (Civil) — Rs. 50,000 – 1,60,000 per month
• Deputy Manager (Civil) — Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000 per month
• Assistant Manager (Civil) — Rs. 30,000 – 1,20,000 per month

• SC / ST / PwBD / Female — No fee
• Sr. DGM (all categories) — No fee

Selection Process

The selection for RVNL Civil posts will be done through the following stages:

1. Scrutiny of Applications — RVNL will verify your educational qualification, age, experience, and percentage criteria
2. Written Test — Scheduled for 03 May 2026 at Delhi. Venue and time will be shared through the admit card
3. Interview / Personal Discussion — Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview covering technical knowledge in civil engineering, project management, and leadership

5. Final Merit List — Based on overall performance, a final merit list will be prepared

• Handle planning, design, and execution of railway civil engineering projects including tracks, bridges, and tunnels
• Monitor project progress, maintain quality standards, and ensure timely completion of construction work
• Prepare detailed project reports, estimates, and technical specifications for civil engineering works
• Work closely with contractors, consultants, and government agencies to coordinate project activities
• Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with railway engineering standards and regulations
• Manage site inspections, material testing, and quality control procedures for civil infrastructure
• Assist in budget management, cost estimation, and financial tracking of assigned projects
