Who Can Apply?

TGT English

• Four-year integrated degree from an NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks in English and aggregate, including a B.Ed component; OR
• Bachelor's/Honours degree with at least 50% marks in English AND B.Ed degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognised institution; OR
• Three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed from NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks; OR
• One-year B.Ed (Special Education) from Rehabilitation Council of India with at least 50% marks; OR
• Post-graduation in English with at least 55% marks plus three-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed with at least 50% marks
• You must have qualified CTET Paper-II conducted by CBSE
• You must have studied English as an elective/main subject in at least 3 years/6 semesters of the course

Counsellor

• Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology; OR
• Postgraduate in Child Development; OR
• Graduate/Postgraduate with a diploma in Career Guidance and Counselling
• You must have at least 50% marks in every exam up to graduation

Art Master

• Bachelor's degree in Drawing and Painting / Sculpture / Graphic Art / Fine Arts from a recognised university with at least 50% marks (drawing and painting must be the main subject in all years of the degree)
• B.Ed degree with at least 50% marks from an NCTE-recognised institution

Music Teacher

• Class 12 (Higher Secondary) with at least 50% marks from a recognised board AND
• Bachelor's degree in Music / Performing Arts from a recognised university with music as the main subject in all years of the degree
• Candidates holding only a diploma in music are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 35 years for all four posts
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Sainik School Society rules

Salary

• TGT English: Fixed remuneration between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month
• Counsellor: Fixed remuneration between Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 50,000 per month
• Art Master: Fixed remuneration between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month
• Music Teacher: Fixed remuneration between Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month
• All posts are on a one-year contract, extendable up to three years

Application Fee

• SC / ST: Rs. 250
• Payment must be by non-refundable Demand Draft drawn in favour of "Principal, Sainik School Mainpuri", payable at SBI Mainpuri (IFSC: SBIN0000675)

Selection Process

The selection will be done in three stages:

1. Written Test: Shortlisted candidates meeting eligibility will be called for the written examination
2. Class Demonstration / Skill Test: Demonstrate teaching or relevant skills for the post applied for
3. Interview: Final assessment by the selection committee

No TA/DA will be paid for attending any stage of the selection.
