The High Court of Andhra Pradesh (AP High Court), Amaravati, has announced a major recruitment drive to fill 300 vacancies across 13 different posts under the Service Rules of the High Court of Andhra Pradesh, 2025. This recruitment covers both carried forward and fresh vacancies. This is the biggest High Court recruitment in Andhra Pradesh in recent years, with posts ranging from Office Subordinate (7th class pass) to Section Officer (Law graduate).   • Qualification: B.Tech (CSC/ECE/EEE/IT) or M.Sc. (Computer Science) from a UGC-recognised university
  • Experience: 5 years in Networking and Server Maintenance/Administration

Computer Operator (31 posts - Rs. 40,970/month):

  • Qualification: Degree in Computer Science from a UGC-recognised university
  • Must have passed Typewriting (English) Higher Grade at 45 w.p.m.

Assistant Librarian (1 post - Rs. 40,970/month):

  • Qualification: Law Degree + B.Li.Sc. + Computer skills for library maintenance

Librarian Grade-II (1 post - Rs. 35,570/month):

  • Qualification: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law + B.Li.Sc.

U.D. Stenographer (7 posts - Rs. 34,580/month):

  • Qualification: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law

  • Must have passed Typewriting (English) Higher Grade at 45 w.p.m.

Stenographer (1 post - Rs. 25,220/month):

  • Qualification: Degree in Arts/Science/Commerce/Law
  • Must have passed Shorthand (English) at 80 w.p.m. and Typewriting (English) Higher Grade at 45 w.p.m.

Office Subordinate (20 posts - Rs. 20,000/month):

  • Qualification: 7th class pass or equivalent
  • Candidates who failed Intermediate or equivalent will also be considered, but those with higher qualification will not be eligible.

Age Limit

  • You should be between 18 and 42 years old as on 01 January 2026.
  • SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years relaxation (maximum age becomes 47 years)
  • PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities): 10 years relaxation (maximum age becomes 52 years)
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Rule 12(1)(c)(i) of AP State and Subordinate Service Rules

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

  1. Computer Based Examination (CBE): 80 questions for 80 marks. Duration is 90 minutes. Each question carries 1 mark. The exam will be in English and Telugu. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% for OC/EWS, 35% for BC, 30% for SC/ST/PwBD.
  2. Skill Test (for specific posts): For Senior System Officer, Computer Operator, U.D. Stenographer, Stenographer, Typist, Copyist, and Data Entry Operator posts, a separate skill test will be conducted. The CBE is only for screening purposes for these posts. Final selection is based on skill test performance only.
  3. Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified at the High Court.

For Section Officer, Assistant Librarian, Librarian Grade-II, Assistant, Examiner, and Office Subordinate posts, the final merit is based on the Written Examination marks only.

  • Assist judicial officers and registry staff with daily administrative work

  • Follow court schedules and ensure timely processing of pending matters

Exam Pattern
