BARC Dialysis Technologist Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), Medical Division has announced a walk-in interview for the post of Dialysis Technologist at SA/B level at BARC Hospital, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai. The appointment is on a locum basis against a regular or leave vacancy for a period of 178 days (not more than 89 days at one stretch). Candidates with hands-on experience in dialysis will be given preference, and basic computer knowledge is a must.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Sc and/or Diploma in Dialysis Technology with a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination from a recognised institution.
• Experience: Candidates with relevant experience in dialysis will be preferred. Basic computer knowledge is mandatory.
• Shortlisting Note: If more than 10 candidates show up, shortlisting will be done based on the highest percentage obtained in the degree/diploma.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 50 years (as on the date of interview)

Salary

• Consolidated pay: Rs. 19,502 per month plus DA at prevailing rates (pre-revised)
• Net take-home pay: approximately Rs. 45,000 per month
• This is a fixed-term locum appointment — not a regular government pay scale position

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

This is a walk-in interview — there is no written exam. Selection is based on:

1. Document Verification: Report to Conference Room No. 1, Ground Floor, BARC Hospital by 8:30 am. Candidates arriving after 10:00 am will not be considered.
2. Merit Shortlisting (if applicable): If more than 10 candidates appear, they will be shortlisted based on highest marks in degree/diploma before the interview.
3. Interview: Held at Conference Room No. II, Ground Floor, BARC Hospital from 10:30 am onwards.

• Assist nephrologists and nursing staff in managing patients with kidney disease
• Follow hospital infection control protocols and safety guidelines at all times
• Handle data entry and record-keeping using hospital computer systems
