BVFCL has released notification for 24 Engineer, Officer and Manager posts on Fixed Term Contract (FTC) basis at its Namrup plant in Assam. BVFCL Engineer, Officer & Manager Recruitment 2026 - 24 Posts
Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), a Schedule 'B' Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, has announced recruitment for 24 executive-level positions across Engineering, Finance, HR, and Safety disciplines. The posts are based at BVFCL's Corporate Office in Namrup, Dist. Dibrugarh, Assam, and the engagement is on a Fixed Term Contract for 2 years, extendable by another 2 years based on performance. BVFCL is India's first natural gas-based fertilizer plant and is currently in expansion mode with new projects on the anvil.

Who Can Apply?
For Engineering Posts (E1 Level):
- Engineer (Production): Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from an AICTE/UGC approved institution with 3 years of post-qualification executive experience in a PSU or large private sector chemical industry.
- Engineer (Mechanical): Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 3 years of experience in a PSU or large private sector process industry.
- Engineer (Instrumentation): Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Instrumentation/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics & Communication with 3 years of experience. Exposure to DCS and PLC systems is needed.
- Engineer (Civil): Full-time B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience in RCC & Steel Structure, construction, building maintenance, roads, and civil projects.
- Engineer (Fire & Safety): Full-time B.Tech/B.E./B.Sc. Engg. in Fire & Safety/Fire Technology and Safety from an AICTE/UGC approved institution OR Full-time B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical/Fire with a one-year Diploma in Industrial Safety. 3 years of experience required. Thorough knowledge of Assamese is needed.
For Finance Posts:
- Sr. Manager (Finance) - E5 Level: Graduate with CA or ICWA, minimum 12 years of post-qualification executive experience. At least 4 years must be in a managerial position with middle-level experience. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
- Dy. Manager (Finance) - E3 Level: Graduate with CA or ICWA, minimum 8 years of post-qualification executive experience in a PSU or large private sector. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
- Officer (Finance) - E1 Level: Graduate with CA or ICWA, minimum 3 years of post-qualification executive experience in a PSU or large private sector. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
For HR Posts:
- Dy. Manager (HR) - E3 Level: Full-time MBA or PG Degree/Diploma (2 years) in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations / Labour & Social Welfare from a recognized university. Minimum 8 years of post-qualification executive experience. Degree in Law is desirable.
- Officer (HR) - E1 Level: Full-time MBA or PG Degree/Diploma (2 years) in PM&IR / Labour & Social Welfare from a recognized university. Minimum 3 years of post-qualification executive experience. Degree in Law is desirable.
All qualifications must be from UGC-recognized or AICTE-approved institutions. Distance learning degrees will not be accepted. Only Indian Nationals can apply.
Age Limit

Salary
- Sr. Manager (Finance) - E5: Pay Scale Rs. 32,900-3%-58,000. Approximate annual CTC: Rs. 17.90 lakh
- Dy. Manager (Finance/HR) - E3: Pay Scale Rs. 24,900-3%-50,500. Approximate annual CTC: Rs. 13.56 lakh
- Officer/Engineer (All disciplines) - E1: Pay Scale Rs. 16,400-3%-40,500. Approximate annual CTC: Rs. 8.94 lakh
- You will receive starting Basic Pay of the corresponding scale plus Fixed Dearness Allowance at 233.20% of basic and other admissible wage components as per FTC rules.
- Statutory benefits like leave, PF, and gratuity are applicable as per Corporation rules.
Physical Standards (Engineer Fire & Safety only)
- No physical deformity

The selection will be done through:

Responsibilities
- Handle plant operations, maintenance, and production activities in the assigned department
- Prepare technical reports, cost estimates, and project documentation
- Monitor compliance with safety standards, environmental norms, and statutory regulations
- Manage financial accounting, budgetary control, costing and pricing, and audit processes (Finance posts)
- Work on recruitment, performance management, trade union negotiations, and statutory compliances (HR posts)
- Assist in implementing cost control measures and technological developments in the plant
- Maintain equipment, machinery, and civil structures as per preventive maintenance schedules
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
B.E./B.Tech (for Engineering posts), CA/ICWA (for Finance posts), MBA/PG in PM&IR (for HR posts)
Preferred Qualification
Knowledge of SAP for Finance posts. Degree in Law for HR posts. Experience in Fertilizer & Chemical Industries preferred.
