CONCOR has released Vacancy Notice No. 03/2026 for 10 Manager, Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager posts in the Commercial & Operations (C&O) department. Container Corporation of India Limited (CONCOR), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, is looking for experienced railway officers to join its Commercial & Operations wing. This recruitment is on immediate absorption basis, meaning selected candidates will permanently move from Indian Railways to CONCOR. The posts are spread across 9 locations including Ahmedabad, Bhubaneshwar, Mumbai, Chennai, Dadri, KKU, Kolkata, Vizag and Tughlakabad (Delhi). Who Can Apply?

  • Service: You must be a Traffic & Commercial cadre officer currently working with Indian Railways on regular basis.
  • Qualification: You need a Graduation degree from a university or institute recognised by AICTE/UGC or an appropriate statutory body of the Government of India.
  • Experience for Manager (E-3): Minimum 15 years of service and above, and presently working in Level-8 (7th CPC).
  • Experience for Dy. Manager (E-2): Minimum 12 years but less than 15 years of service, and presently working in Level-7 (7th CPC).
  • Experience for Asst. Manager (E-1): Minimum 9 years but less than 12 years of service, and presently working in Level-6 (7th CPC).
  • Other Requirement: You should have practical experience in traffic/commercial field with Indian Railways.

Age Limit

  • You should be not exceeding 56 years of age as on the closing date of receipt of applications (16 April 2026).
  • The cut-off date for age and eligibility will be reckoned as on the closing date of this vacancy notice.

Salary

  • Manager (E-3): Rs. 60,000 - 3% - 1,80,000 per month (IDA Scale)
  • Dy. Manager (E-2): Rs. 50,000 - 3% - 1,60,000 per month (IDA Scale)
  • Asst. Manager (E-1): Rs. 50,000 - 3% - 1,60,000 per month (IDA Scale)
  • You will also get Basic Pay and DA (IDA pattern) along with benefits like leased accommodation or HRA, Perks & Allowances under cafeteria approach, performance related pay, medical facilities, group insurance, pension, CPF, post-retirement medical benefits, and gratuity as per CONCOR's policies.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written examination for this recruitment. Selection is based on:

  1. Shortlisting: Eligible candidates who meet all the criteria will be shortlisted.
  2. Interview / Power Point Presentation (PPT): Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview or PPT. Weightage will be given to various attributes such as APAR ratings (for the preceding 3 years), experience profile, additional professional qualifications, and personality traits.
  3. Document Verification: All relevant documents will be verified before final selection.

CONCOR reserves the right to modify or amend any part of the selection process at any stage before the interview.

Responsibilities

  • Handle commercial and operations activities at the assigned CONCOR terminal or regional office
  • Manage container traffic movement, booking, and delivery operations
  • Coordinate with Indian Railways for freight scheduling, rake allocation, and transit planning
  • Monitor terminal performance and ensure timely loading and unloading of containers
  • Prepare operational reports, MIS data, and revenue statements for the region
  • Assist in developing business strategies to increase container throughput and revenue
  • Work with customs, port authorities, and shipping lines to streamline logistics processes
  • Follow safety standards and company policies during all terminal and transportation operations

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Graduation degree from recognised University/Institute (AICTE/UGC/Govt. statutory body)

Preferred Qualification

Additional professional qualifications in traffic/commercial/logistics field
