CUSAT Security Guard Recruitment 2026 - 22 Posts

Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), located in Kochi, Kerala, has published a re-notification for filling 22 Security Guard positions on contract basis. This recruitment is exclusively for ex-servicemen who have served in the Indian Armed Forces or paramilitary organizations. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed 10th Standard (SSLC) or an equivalent examination.
• Service Experience: You need at least 5 years of service in the Army, Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), or similar military and paramilitary organizations.
• Eligibility: Only Ex-servicemen are eligible to apply for this post.
• Physical Fitness: You must have good physical fitness and structure.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 56 years (as on 01 January 2026).
• State reservation rules are applicable for this contract appointment.

Salary

• Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of Rs. 22,240.
• This is a contract position. The contract duration will be decided by the university.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Based on eligibility and service experience in defence/paramilitary forces.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
3. Document Verification: You will need to produce original certificates for age, education, service experience, and caste at this stage.

• Assist during university events, examinations, and emergencies
• Follow all security protocols and guidelines set by the university administration
