DRDO DMSRDE Research Associate (Chemistry) Recruitment 2026

DMSRDE Kanpur, a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), is looking for 1 Research Associate in Chemistry on a fellowship basis. If you hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry and want to contribute to cutting-edge defence materials research, this is your chance to work with one of India's top defence research establishments.

Selection Process

Selection is entirely through a walk-in interview held at the DMSRDE Transit Facility (Near DRLM Puliya), G.T. Road, Kanpur 208 004. There is no written examination. You simply need to walk in on the scheduled date with your documents and appear before the interview panel. The Director of DMSRDE reserves the right not to select any candidate if none are found suitable.

Documents You'll Need

• Bio-data in the prescribed format (available in the official notification PDF)
• Recent passport-size photograph
• All original mark sheets and certificates from Matriculation onwards, along with one set of self-attested photocopies
• Ph.D. degree certificate or provisional certificate (or proof of thesis submission)
• GATE/NET score card if qualified
• Community/category certificate if claiming reservation benefits (OBC non-creamy layer certificate is mandatory for OBC candidates)
• Valid ID proof -- Voter's ID, Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, or Driving License
• NOC or proper channel forwarding if currently working in Government, PSU, or Autonomous body
