Reservation: As per Rule 22 of AP State and Subordinate Services Rules, including BC, SC, ST reservations. Reservations for women, ex-servicemen, PwD, and EWS are applicable as per government orders.

Who Can Apply?

For General Duty Attendant, Office Subordinate, Store Attender, Mortuary Attendant:

  • Qualification: Must have passed SSC (10th class) or its equivalent from a recognised Board.

For Lab Attendant:

  • Qualification: SSC/10th pass with Lab Attendant Course or Intermediate (Lab Attendance Vocational) from a Board of Inter Education, AP or any recognised institution.

For EM Technician, ECG Technician, Lab Technician, OT Technician, Anaesthesia Technician, and other Technician posts:

  • Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent plus relevant Diploma or B.Sc degree in the specific field. Must be registered with APPMB (AP Paramedical Board) where applicable.

For Computer Programmer, Network Administrator, System Administrator:

  • Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in IT/CS/ECE or MCA or Post Graduate in Computer Science/IT. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the relevant field.

For Child Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist:

  • Qualification: MA (Psychology) plus PG Diploma and M.Phil in the relevant specialisation from a recognised university. Clinical Psychologist must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of India.

For Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist:

  • Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Speech Therapy or Physiotherapy from a recognised university. Must be registered with APPMB.

For Store Keepers:

  • Qualification: Graduation in any discipline plus PG Diploma in Computer Applications Certificate (PGDCA).

Domicile: District jurisdiction for this recruitment is Guntur district only. You must be a local candidate from Guntur district.

Age Limit

  • Upper age limit is 42 years as on the date of notification (25-03-2026).
  • SC / ST / BC / EWS: 5 years relaxation (max 47 years).
  • Ex-Servicemen: 3 years relaxation plus length of service in armed forces.
  • PwD (Differently Abled): 10 years relaxation.
  • Maximum age with all relaxations combined is 52 years.

Salary

  • Outsourcing posts (General Duty Attendant, Office Subordinate, Lab Attendant, Store Attender, Mortuary Attendant): Rs. 15,000 - Rs. 18,500 per month
  • Contract Technician posts (OT Technician, Library Assistants, etc.): Rs. 20,600 - Rs. 37,640 per month
  • Contract Specialist posts (Speech Therapist, Physiotherapist, Computer Programmer, etc.): Rs. 34,580 - Rs. 40,970 per month
  • Highest paid posts (Child Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist): Rs. 54,060 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written examination. Selection is purely based on merit:

  1. Academic Merit (75% weightage): 75% of marks will come from your aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
  2. Experience Weightage (up to 10 marks): You get 1 mark per completed year after acquiring the required qualification (maximum 10 marks).
  3. COVID-19 Service Weightage (up to 15%): Additional marks for candidates who served on contract/outsourcing basis during COVID-19, certified by competent authority.
  4. Area-based Work Experience Weightage: 2.5 marks per 6 months in Tribal Area, 2.0 marks in Rural Area, 1.0 mark in Urban Area.
  5. Document Verification: All shortlisted candidates must submit original documents for verification.
  6. Counselling: Final selection through counselling based on merit list.

Total marks: 100. Combined counselling for both institutions — you can choose only one.

Responsibilities

  • Assist doctors, nurses, and senior medical staff in daily patient care activities
  • Maintain records, registers, and documentation as required for the assigned department
  • Operate and maintain medical equipment and instruments relevant to the specific post
  • Follow hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and standard operating procedures
  • Prepare and maintain medical reports, lab results, and patient files accurately
  • Work in shifts including night duty and emergency duty as assigned by the hospital management
  • Keep the assigned work area clean, organised, and compliant with health standards

Merit Calculation

  • Academic Marks (75%): 75% weightage on your aggregate marks from the qualifying examination.
