All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jammu, a Central Autonomous Institution under PMSSY, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has released Employment Notification No. 01/2026 (Advt. No. AIIMS/JAMMU/Deputation/2026/01) for filling 7 Group A posts on deputation basis. This is a great opportunity for serving government officers to join one of India's premier medical institutes located at Vijaypur, Samba, Jammu. Who Can Apply?

Only serving officers from Central/State Government, Union Territory, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, PSUs, R&D Organizations, or Police Departments can apply. Each post has different eligibility requirements:

Medical Superintendent (Level 14)

• Qualification: Medical degree recognized under Indian Medical Council Act 1956, plus PG qualification (MD/MS or equivalent), OR M.HA (Masters in Hospital Administration) or equivalent
• Experience: 10 years in Hospital Administration after PG degree, preferably in hospitals with 300+ beds

Superintending Engineer (Level 13)

• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR
• Executive Engineers with 5 years regular service in grade pay of Rs. 7,600, OR
• Executive Engineers with 10 years regular service in grade pay of Rs. 6,600

Executive Engineer -- Civil (Level 11)

• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR
• Assistant Engineer (Civil) with 5 years regular service in grade pay of Rs. 5,400, OR
• Junior Engineer (Civil) with 7 years regular service in grade pay of Rs. 4,600

Executive Engineer -- Electrical (Level 11)

• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR
• Assistant Engineer (Electric) with 5 years regular service in grade pay of Rs. 5,400, OR
• Junior Engineer (Electric) with 7 years regular service in grade pay of Rs. 4,600

Assistant Controller of Examinations (Level 11)

• Officers holding analogous posts on regular basis, OR
• At least 5 years regular service in PB-3 with Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400 or higher

Nursing Superintendent (Level 11)

• Officers under State/Central Governments or Statutory/Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts, OR
• Deputy/Assistant Nursing Superintendent with 5 years regular service in Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application
• Other eligibility criteria as per relevant Recruitment Rules/DoPT instructions

Salary

All posts are in Group A with the following pay levels under the 7th CPC:

• Level 14: Rs. 1,44,200 -- Rs. 2,18,200 per month (Medical Superintendent)
• Level 13: Rs. 1,23,100 -- Rs. 2,15,900 per month (Superintending Engineer)
• Level 11: Rs. 67,700 -- Rs. 2,08,700 per month (Executive Engineers, Asst. Controller of Examination, Nursing Superintendent)

In addition, you get usual allowances as admissible to Central Government Employees at Samba, Vijaypur, Jammu (includes DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, etc.).

The deputation terms follow DoPT O.M. No. 2/6/2018-Estt. (Pay-II) dated 18.05.2018. Private practice is not allowed.

2. Interview / Further Selection Process: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview or further selection as decided by the competent authority
3. Document Verification: Original documents as proof of qualifications and experience
