All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Madurai, established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), is hiring for 6 key administrative and technical positions on deputation basis. AIIMS Madurai operates under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and is mentored by JIPMER Puducherry. It serves as an apex healthcare institute focused on quality tertiary healthcare for the southern Tamil Nadu region. All posts are Group A except Personal Assistant (Group B). Only serving government officers from Central, State, UT governments, universities, autonomous bodies, or PSUs are eligible to apply.

Who Can Apply?

Only serving government employees from Central/State/UT Governments, Universities, Statutory/Autonomous Bodies, PSUs, or R&D Organizations can apply. You must have completed at least 9 years of service and be clear from the vigilance angle.

Medical Superintendent (Level 14)

• Qualification: Medical degree recognised under the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 plus Post-Graduate qualification (MD/MS or equivalent) OR MHA (Masters in Hospital Administration)
• Experience: 10 years in Hospital Administration in a senior position after PG degree, preferably in hospitals with 300+ beds
• Service Level: Must have experience at Pay Level 13 and above
• Age: Up to 58 years

Superintending Engineer (Level 13)

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognised university
• Eligibility: Holding analogous post OR Executive Engineer (Civil) with 5 years regular service at Level 12 OR 10 years at Level 11
• Age: Up to 56 years

Executive Engineer - Electrical (Level 11)

• Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university
• Eligibility: Holding analogous post OR Assistant Engineer (Electrical) with 5 years at Level 10 OR Junior Engineer (Electrical) with 7 years at Level 7
• Age: Up to 56 years

Nursing Superintendent (Level 11)

• Eligibility: Holding analogous post OR Deputy/Assistant Nursing Superintendent with 5 years regular service at Level 10
• Age: Up to 56 years

Assistant Controller of Examinations (Level 11)

• Eligibility: Holding analogous post OR 5 years of regular service at Level 10 or higher in PB-3
• Age: Up to 56 years

Personal Assistant (Level 6)

• Eligibility: Holding analogous post OR 10 years regular service at Level 4
• Age: Up to 56 years

Age Limit

• Medical Superintendent: Maximum 58 years
• All other posts: Maximum 56 years
• Age limits are regulated as per DoPT OM No. AB-14017/11/2017-Estt(RR) dated 5 February 2018

Salary

• Medical Superintendent (Level 14): Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month + Non-Practising Allowance (NPA)
• Superintending Engineer (Level 13): Rs. 1,23,100 to Rs. 2,15,900 per month
• Executive Engineer, Nursing Superintendent, Asst. Controller of Examinations (Level 11): Rs. 67,700 to Rs. 2,08,700 per month
• Personal Assistant (Level 6): Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month
• All posts carry usual allowances (DA, HRA, TA) as admissible to Central Government employees plus any additional allowances sanctioned at AIIMS Madurai

Selection Process

Selection for these deputation posts is based on:

1. Screening of Applications: Your application and supporting documents will be verified against the eligibility criteria
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at AIIMS Madurai. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview
3. Document Verification: Original documents along with one set of self-attested Xerox copies need to be produced at the time of interview

Note: Mere eligibility does not guarantee you will be called for interview. The deputation period will not ordinarily exceed 3 years.

• Assist senior officers with correspondence, file management, and secretarial duties
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and ensure compliance with government regulations
• Liaise with Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and other government agencies as required
