Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (HBCHRC), Muzaffarpur is a unit of the Tata Memorial Centre, an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. The hospital is located at the Shri Krishna Medical College and Hospital Campus in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. This recruitment drive covers 4 different technical and supervisory roles in the hospital's support services. These positions are filled on a contract basis for 6 months (extendable) through the outsourcing agency M/s. SBC Exports Ltd. Candidates with B.Sc., M.Sc., or relevant diplomas along with work experience in hospitals can apply.

Who Can Apply?

Technician ECG

• Qualification: B.Sc. in Physics, Microbiology, Life Science, Biotechnology, Zoology, Botany, or Chemistry from a recognised university.
• Experience: You need at least 2 years of experience in ECG and Stress Test at a large, reputed medical college or hospital.
• Preference: Candidates who have completed certified courses from a reputed institute will get preference.

Quality Manager

• Qualification: M.Sc. or equivalent Post Graduate Degree with at least 50% marks, OR a Master's Degree in Hospital / Healthcare / Administration Management.
• Experience: You need at least 3 years of experience in the relevant field.

Biomedical Waste Supervisor

• Qualification: B.Sc. (any stream) with 50% marks plus a Degree or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), OR B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology with 50% marks.
• Experience (B.Sc. + DMLT route): At least 1 year of experience in an institutional-based laboratory.
• Experience (B.Sc. MLT route): At least 2 years of experience in an institutional-based laboratory.
• Desirable: Candidates with experience in Biomedical Waste Treatment will be preferred.

Linen & Laundry Supervisor

• Qualification: Graduate in Science. Candidates with a degree in Textile Engineering from a recognised university will be preferred.
• Experience: You need at least 1 year of experience in the laundry of a reputed hospital, hotel, or any commercial laundry.

Age Limit

• Technician ECG: Maximum 30 years as on walk-in interview date.
• Quality Manager: Maximum 35 years as on walk-in interview date.
• Biomedical Waste Supervisor: Maximum 30 years as on walk-in interview date.
• Linen & Laundry Supervisor: Maximum 30 years as on walk-in interview date.

Salary

• Technician ECG: Rs. 23,218 per month (consolidated)
• Quality Manager: Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated)
• Biomedical Waste Supervisor: Rs. 25,506 per month (consolidated)
• Linen & Laundry Supervisor: Rs. 25,506 per month (consolidated)

These are contractual positions. Salary is consolidated without separate DA/HRA components.

Selection Process

Selection for all posts is through a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: You need to attend the interview at HBCHRC Muzaffarpur on the scheduled date for your post. If you are an outstation candidate, you can request an online interview by emailing your documents to recruitment@hbchrcmzp.tmc.gov.in before 06 April 2026 (3:00 PM). Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the online interview.

Option 2: Online Interview (For Outstation Candidates)

• Operate ECG machines and conduct stress tests on patients as scheduled by doctors
• Manage hospital quality control processes and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
• Handle segregation, collection, and safe disposal of biomedical waste as per government guidelines
• Monitor linen and laundry operations including washing, ironing, and inventory management
• Maintain records and prepare reports related to your assigned department
• Follow hospital safety protocols and infection control procedures at all times
• Coordinate with nursing staff, doctors, and other departments for smooth daily operations
