High Explosives Factory (HEF), Khadki, Pune — a unit of Munitions India Limited (MIL) under the Ministry of Defence — is hiring 91 personnel on tenure basis to work in its explosives manufacturing operations. The engagement starts with a 1-year contract and can be renewed yearly up to a maximum of 4 years based on factory needs and your performance. Who Can Apply?

For Graduate Project Engineer (Chemical) — 06 Posts

• Qualification: You need a B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Experience: At least 1 year of training or experience in Ordnance Factories or factories manufacturing military ammunition, explosives, or hazardous chemicals.
• Also eligible: Ex-Graduate Apprentices who completed their Chemical trade apprenticeship under MIL or ordnance factories.

For Skilled Worker AOCP (CPW) — 85 Posts

• Qualification: You need Matriculation (10th Pass) plus NAC/NTC issued by NCTVT (now NCVT) in AOCP Trade.
• Course affiliation: The course must be from a government, private organisation with government affiliation, or a Government ITI.
• Accepted Feeder Trades: IMCP, MMCP, LACP, PPO, Fitter General, Machinist, Turner, Sheet Metal Worker, Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Boiler Attendant, Mechanic Industrial Electronics, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic.
• Desirable: Experience in Ordnance Factories or manufacturing and handling military explosives and ammunition.

Candidates with AOCP trade will be given preference. Feeder trade candidates will be considered only if AOCP candidates are not available in required numbers.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 40 years old as on the last date of receipt of applications.
• Age Relaxation: Available for OBC-NCL, SC/ST, and Ex-Servicemen candidates as per Government of India rules.
• PwD candidates are NOT eligible for the Skilled Worker (AOCP) post.

Salary

Graduate Project Engineer (Supervisory Staff)

• 1st Year: Rs. 36,000 per month (Basic Pay)
• 2nd Year: Rs. 37,000 per month
• 3rd Year: Rs. 38,192 per month
• 4th Year: Rs. 38,338 per month
• Plus Dearness Allowance as per prevailing rate

Skilled Worker (AOCP - CPW)

• Basic Pay: Rs. 19,900 per month plus Dearness Allowance
• Annual increment of 3% (rounded to the next ten rupees) during the tenure period, subject to satisfactory performance

Selection Process

For Graduate Project Engineer (Supervisory Staff)

1. Academic Merit (85% weightage): Based on marks scored in B.E./B.Tech qualifying examination.
2. Personal Interaction / Interview (15% weightage): Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Cut-off percentage for calling candidates will be decided by HEF, Khadki.
3. Document Verification: Candidates with combined marks above cut-off will be called for document verification in the order of merit, limited to the number of posts notified.

For Skilled Worker (AOCP - CPW)

1. NCVT Marks (80% weightage): Based on marks scored in NCVT exam.
2. Trade Test / Practical Test (20% weightage): Shortlisted candidates will undergo a trade test. Cut-off percentage will be decided by the factory.
3. Document Verification: Candidates qualifying in combined marks will be called for document verification in the order of merit.

In case of rejection during document verification due to non-availability of required documents or not meeting eligibility criteria, the next candidates in merit order will be called.
