Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur), one of India's premier management institutions established under the Ministry of Education, has announced recruitment for 2 Business Manager/Business Consultant positions under the CGSRLM Incubation Project. These are project-based roles with yearly renewal up to 3 years, focused on grassroots entrepreneurship training and rural livelihood development across Chhattisgarh. No written exam is required — selection is purely through screening and interviews. Experienced professionals with strong Hindi communication skills and a background in training, capacity building, or rural development should consider applying.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Postgraduate degree (Master's level). MBA, PGDM, or M.Tech is preferred. A Master's in Social Work or any related discipline is also accepted.
• Experience: You need at least 10 years of post-education experience in large-scale training and capacity building, or in government, academic, or CSR projects related to entrepreneurship, livelihoods, rural development, or incubation.
• Language: Strong Hindi communication and facilitation skills are essential. Proficiency in Chhattisgarhi or other local dialects is preferred.
• Other: You should be willing to travel extensively across Chhattisgarh. Strong documentation, report writing, and proficiency in MS Office, Google tools, and AI tools are required.

Salary

• You will receive a consolidated salary of Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month, depending on your experience.
• An annual increment is applicable during the project tenure.
• The position is project-based with yearly renewal up to 3 years, subject to fund availability and project continuation.

Selection Process

About the Role

As a Business Manager/Business Consultant under the CGSRLM Incubation Project, you will work as a field-facing enterprise coach. Your primary role involves delivering grassroots entrepreneurship training in Hindi (Chhattisgarhi dialect preferred), mentoring early-stage micro-entrepreneurs, and providing hands-on business development assistance. You will be based at IIM Raipur's campus in Atal Nagar (Naya Raipur) but will travel extensively across districts in Chhattisgarh to work with CGSRLM stakeholders. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a tangible impact on rural livelihoods while working under the umbrella of one of India's top management institutes.

• Deliver entrepreneurship and livelihoods training sessions in Hindi and local language, covering practical topics such as pricing, costing, basic bookkeeping, customer acquisition, sales channels, and cash-flow discipline.
• Provide one-on-one and group mentoring to early-stage micro-entrepreneurs, diagnose business gaps, and prepare tailored action plans for each enterprise.
• Support business development efforts including market linkage readiness, buyer and event support, and product or service improvement inputs.
• Coordinate district-wise implementation activities with CGSRLM stakeholders across Chhattisgarh and manage workshops, training events, and related logistics.
• Maintain MIS trackers, digital content, and comprehensive project documentation including progress reports, event reports, case studies, and evidence files.
• Track enterprise progress by monitoring milestones, recording outcomes, and preparing detailed reports for project review and evaluation.
• Facilitate practical clinics and hands-on training sessions to build entrepreneurial capacity among beneficiaries in rural areas.
