The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar), one of India's premier engineering and research institutions, is looking for a qualified Postdoctoral Research Associate for a sponsored research project titled "Experimental Characterization of Asymptotic Scaling Laws in Beyond Convex-Hull (BCH) Range-Based Localization". This is an excellent opportunity for researchers with expertise in communications and signal processing to work on both theoretical and experimental aspects of localization technology, including USRP-based and mmWave radar testbed development.

Essential Qualification

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a relevant area. Candidates who have submitted their Ph.D. thesis can also apply.
  • Minimum 60% or equivalent grade from Graduation onwards.
  • Minimum 55% or equivalent grade in Class 10th and 12th.
  • A strong publication record in the areas of Communications and/or Signal Processing is required.

Desirable Qualification

  • A strong mathematical background in topics such as Random Processes, Linear Algebra, Communication Theory, and Signal Processing.
  • Hands-on experience with software radios (USRPs) and RF sensors.

Salary

  • Monthly Salary: Rs. 72,000 per month (consolidated)
  • This is a consolidated salary, so no separate allowances like DA or HRA apply.

  • Mentor M.Tech and Ph.D. students involved in the project.

Responsibilities
