IIT Tirupati Post-Doctoral Fellow Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Indian Institute of Technology Tirupati (IIT Tirupati) is looking for a qualified Post-Doctoral Fellow to work on a time-bound research project sponsored by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH). The project focuses on Mix Design, Structural Performance and Construction Guidelines for UHPC (Ultra-High Performance Concrete) elements. This is a contract position for 2 years under the Centre for Sponsored Research and Consultancy (CSRC). If you have recently completed your Ph.D in Structural Engineering and want to work at a premier IIT on a nationally important infrastructure research project, this is a great opportunity for you.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have a Ph.D in Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals can apply.
• Experience: Research experience in experimental, numerical, or analytical work on concrete structures will be an advantage.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 36 years.
• No minimum age has been specified.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 67,000 per month.
• In addition to the monthly salary, you will also receive HRA (House Rent Allowance).
• This is a consolidated pay package under the CSRC project funding from MoRTH.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through the following process:

1. Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and relevant research experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted by email.
2. In-Person Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an in-person interview at IIT Tirupati campus. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Document Verification: Your educational certificates, experience letters, and marksheets will be verified.
