Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA), a Navratna Category CPSE under the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), has announced recruitment for 32 executive positions at its offices across India. IREDA is India's largest pure-play green financing NBFC with an authorized capital of Rs. 6,000 crore and a AAA credit rating. Who Can Apply?

For Executive Director - Company Secretary (E-9 Level):

  • Qualification: Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ACS)
  • Experience: 23 years in executive level, with minimum 1 year in CTC of Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000 pay scale or above
  • Desirable: Degree in Law, CA, CMA, MBA, or PG Diploma in Management/Finance

For General Manager - Finance (E-8 Level):

  • Qualification: CA / Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) / MBA or PG Diploma in Management or equivalent in Finance
  • Experience: 20 years in executive level, with minimum 1 year in Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000 pay scale or above

For General Manager - Projects (E-8 Level):

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering from a recognized university
  • Experience: 20 years in Energy/Renewable Energy sector dealing with project appraisal, planning, and monitoring

For Additional General Manager - Projects (E-7 Level):

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering
  • Experience: 17 years in executive level in Energy/Renewable Energy sector

For Deputy General Manager - Projects (E-6 Level):

  • Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. Engineering
  • Experience: 14 years in executive level in Energy/Renewable Energy sector

For Chief Manager - Finance & Projects (E-5 Level):

  • Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) for Finance posts; B.E. / B.Tech for Projects posts

  • Deputy General Manager (E-6): Rs. 90,000 - 2,40,000 per month
  • Chief Manager (E-5): Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000 per month
  • Manager (E-3): Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000 per month
  • Assistant Manager (E-1): Rs. 40,000 - 1,40,000 per month
  • Officer (E-0): Rs. 30,000 - 1,20,000 per month
  • Plus HRA, DA, Performance Related Pay, Medical facilities, Leased Accommodation, Group Insurance, NPS, CPF, Post-Retirement Medical Benefits, Gratuity and other allowances under Cafeteria Approach as per IREDA rules

Selection Process

The selection will be done through the following stages:

  1. Screening of Applications: Your application will be checked against the eligibility criteria for the post you applied for.
  2. Screening Test (if required): IREDA may conduct an examination or screening test to shortlist candidates, depending on the number of applications received.
  3. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Selection is based on your performance in the interview.
  4. Document Verification: Done before the interview. You need to carry all original certificates and testimonials.
  5. Medical Examination: All appointments are subject to medical fitness as per IREDA rules.

Responsibilities

  • Handle core functions in the assigned department such as Finance, Projects, Legal, HR, or Business Development
  • Prepare appraisals, evaluations, and monitoring reports for renewable energy projects and green financing proposals
  • Manage investor relations, financial reporting, and compliance with RBI, SEBI, and NBFC regulations
  • Draft, vet, and execute legal documents related to project financing, loan agreements, and contracts
  • Work on strengthening internal control systems, risk assessment, and audit compliance
  • Assist in planning and development of new business verticals and strategic growth initiatives
  • Coordinate with government agencies, PSEs, and financial institutions on organizational matters
  • Maintain records, prepare reports, and support senior management in decision-making

Minimum Qualification

Graduate / CA / B.E. / B.Tech / LLB / MBA (varies by post)

Preferred Qualification

LLM, Company Secretary (CS), Degree in Law, M.Tech, Post Graduate Diploma in Management or Finance

Required Skills

Experience in ERP applications, knowledge of RBI/SEBI regulations, familiarity with NBFC and PSU operations

Exam Pattern

There is no mandatory written exam for this recruitment. Selection is primarily based on Personal Interview.

However, IREDA reserves the right to conduct an Examination or Screening Test to shortlist candidates if the number of applications received is high. The screening test details will be communicated to candidates if conducted.
