Who Can Apply?

For Paediatrician (8 posts)

• Qualification: You must hold MD in Paediatrics, or DCH, or DNB in Paediatrics from a recognized institution.

For Obstetrics and Gynaecologist (8 posts)

• Qualification: You need MD/MS in Gynaecology, or DGO, or DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

For Gynaecologist (1 post)

• Qualification: MD/MS in Gynaecology, or DGO, or DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

For Ophthalmologist (1 post)

• Qualification: You must have MS in Ophthalmology, or DOMS, or equivalent qualification.

For Dermatologist (4 posts)

• Qualification: MD in Skin/Venereology, or DVD, or DNB in Dermatology.

For Psychiatrist (5 posts)

• Qualification: MD in Psychiatry, or DPM (Diploma in Psychological Medicine), or DNB in Psychiatry.

For ENT Specialist (3 posts)

• Qualification: MS in ENT, or DORL, or DNB in ENT.

All qualifications must be from a recognized university or institution. Candidates should hold a valid Medical Council registration.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 70 years
• The entry and retirement age for specialists is 70 years or 60 years, whichever is higher.
• Candidates above 60 must provide a physical fitness certificate from a District Surgeon.

Salary / Remuneration

NHM Specialist Posts (Paediatrician, Obs & Gynae)

• Remuneration: Rs. 2,000 per visit (1 visit per fortnight)
• No other allowances are payable beyond the visit fee.

15th Finance Commission Polyclinic Posts (Gynae, Ophthalmologist, Dermatologist, Psychiatrist, ENT)

• Remuneration: Rs. 2,000 per visit (1 visit per fortnight)
• Additional: Rs. 100 per patient up to a maximum of Rs. 5,000
• No other honorarium or allowances beyond the above amounts.

Application Fee

• There is no application fee for any category.
• Selected candidates will need to execute an agreement on Rs. 500 stamp paper with notary attestation.

Selection Process

1. Walk-in Interview: Candidates will be selected through a direct walk-in interview. There is no written exam or skill test for these positions.
2. Document Verification: All original documents along with self-attested photocopies will be verified at the time of interview.

The selection committee reserves the right to change the selection process or cancel the recruitment without prior notice.

• Provide specialist medical consultation and treatment to patients at the assigned UPHC or Polyclinic in Kolhapur.
• Examine patients, diagnose conditions, and prescribe appropriate treatment within your area of specialization.
• Attend to patients during scheduled fortnightly visits at the designated health centre.
• Maintain proper medical records, case sheets, and treatment documentation for every patient seen.
• Refer complicated or emergency cases to higher facilities such as district hospitals or government medical colleges.
• Coordinate with the UPHC medical team including medical officers, staff nurses, and ANMs for integrated patient care.
• Follow all NHM and 15th Finance Commission programme guidelines for service delivery and reporting.
• Participate in health awareness campaigns and community outreach activities as directed by KMC health department.
