This is a First NCA (Non-Creamy Layer Appointment) vacancy reserved exclusively for Ex-Servicemen belonging to Scheduled Caste from Kerala. Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC) Guard Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has invited applications for the post of Guard in Kerala State Film Development Corporation Limited (KSFDC). This recruitment fills a backlog NCA vacancy that arose during the currency of the Ranked List published on 14.11.2023 (Category No. 655/2021). Only Ex-Servicemen candidates from the Scheduled Caste community of Kerala are eligible to apply for this post. Candidates with a minimum of Class 7 pass and at least 3 years of Armed Forces service can apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Education: You must have passed Standard VII (Class 7) or its equivalent from a recognised board.
• Military Experience: You need at least 3 years of service in the Armed Forces (Army, Navy, or Air Force).
• Cycling: You must know how to ride a bicycle.
• Community: Only candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste community of Kerala state are eligible. Applications from other communities will be rejected without notice.
• Service Status: You must be an Ex-Serviceman (retired or released from the Armed Forces).

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 50 years old.
• You must have been born between 02 January 1976 and 01 January 2005 (both dates included).
• Age Relaxation: Provisional hands working in KSFDC get relaxation equal to their provisional service period, up to a maximum of 5 years above the upper age limit, provided they were within the age limit at the time of their first provisional appointment.
• In no case can the maximum upper age limit exceed 50 years.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs. 16,500 to Rs. 35,700 per month.
• You will also receive DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Kerala State Government rules.

Physical Standards

• Height: Minimum 168 cm (approximately 5 feet 6 inches)
• Chest (Normal): 81 cm
• Chest (Expanded): 86 cm

Selection Process

The selection will be based on the rules and regulations of Kerala State Film Development Corporation Limited:

1. Written/OMR/Online Test (if conducted as part of the selection)
2. Physical Standards Verification: Height and chest measurements will be checked.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates for qualification, experience, age, community, and Ex-Serviceman status will be verified.

Note: If a written test is conducted, you must submit a confirmation through your OTR profile. Admission tickets will be available for download in the last 15 days before the exam date.

6. Upload a photograph taken within the last 6 months with your name and date printed at the bottom.
7. Add your Aadhaar Card as ID proof in your profile.
8. Submit the application and save a printout or soft copy for future reference.

• Guard and secure the premises, assets, and equipment of the corporation
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or bicycle during duty shifts
• Monitor entry and exit of visitors, vehicles, and staff at the facility gates
• Report any suspicious activities, security breaches, or unusual incidents to superiors
• Maintain the duty register and log all security-related events during shifts
• Assist in managing crowd control and maintaining order during film shoots or events
