Kerala Public Service Commission (KPSC) has released this recruitment notification through the Extra Ordinary Gazette dated 31 March 2026. HANTEX is the apex body of primary handloom weavers' co-operative societies in Kerala, established in 1961, with over 500 affiliated member societies across the state. This is the third NCA notification for this post, issued because qualified candidates from the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community were not available during the first NCA (Category No. 285/2023) and second NCA (Category No. 061/2025). Selection will be made on a statewide basis.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed SSLC (10th Class) from a recognised board.
• Experience: You need at least 3 years of regular service in any cadre in a member society affiliated to HANTEX. You must be in service of the member society both on the date of application and on the date of appointment.
• Community: You must belong to the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community. This is an NCA reservation vacancy.
• Employment Status: You must be a regular employee of a member society affiliated to The Kerala State Handloom Weavers Co-operative Society Limited. Applications from candidates who are not regular employees or belong to a different community will be rejected.
• Service Certificate: You must obtain and upload a Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General) of the Co-operative Department at the time of applying.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 50 years old.
• You must have been born between 02 January 1976 and 01 January 2008 (both dates included).
• Note: Age relaxation as per Para 2 of the general conditions is NOT applicable to this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a pay in the scale of Rs. 4,630 - Rs. 7,000 per month (pre-revision scale).
• You will also get DA, HRA, and other allowances as per Kerala State Government rules applicable to co-operative society employees.

Selection Process

The selection will be done on a statewide basis. The ranked list published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the vacancy earmarked for the Ezhava/Thiyya/Billava community.

1. Written/OMR/Online Examination: If conducted, you will need to submit a confirmation for writing the examination through your profile. Admission tickets can be downloaded in the last 15 days before the test date.
2. Document Verification: Original documents to prove qualification, experience, age, and community must be produced when called for verification.

3. Log in with your User-ID and Password.

5. Upload your photograph (taken within 6 months for new profiles, must be taken after 31.12.2013).
6. Upload your Service Certificate from the Assistant Registrar (General).
7. Submit the application and take a printout for your records.

• Sell handloom products to customers at HANTEX showrooms and outlets
• Keep daily sales records and maintain stock registers accurately
• Assist customers in choosing handloom fabrics and garments
• Arrange and display products in the showroom for easy browsing
• Handle cash transactions and maintain billing records
• Report daily sales figures to the showroom manager
• Follow inventory management guidelines and flag low-stock items
