Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University (LITU), Nagpur has announced recruitment for 4 teaching positions in its newly proposed Management School offering the MBA programme. Established by the Government of Maharashtra under Act XLI of 2023, LITU is located on Amravati Road in Nagpur. This recruitment covers 1 Associate Professor and 3 Assistant Professor posts, both on a temporary/contractual basis for the upcoming academic year. Who Can Apply?

For Associate Professor (MBA):

• Qualification: You need a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in the relevant field, along with first class or equivalent at the Master's level in the relevant branch.
• Experience: At least 8 years of teaching, research, or industry experience, with a minimum of 2 years post-Ph.D.
• Preferred: Experience of independently handling a management institute is highly desirable.
• Preferred Age: Below 50 years.

For Assistant Professor (MBA):

• Qualification: Any Bachelor's degree plus MBA or equivalent with first class.
• Preferred: Ph.D. or equivalent qualification, or currently pursuing doctoral studies, is desirable.
• Experience: 4 to 6 years of industry, teaching, or research experience is essential.

Note: A relaxation of 5% in marks is available for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) and PwBD candidates at both Bachelor's and Master's level. Ph.D. holders who completed their Master's before 19 September 1991 get a relaxation from 55% to 50%.

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for all posts is 59 years as on the last date of application.
• For Associate Professor, the preferred age is below 50 years.
• Age Reference Date: 06 April 2026 (last date of application).

Salary

• Salary will be as per AICTE / UGC / University norms.
• These positions are on a temporary basis for Academic Session 2026-2027.
• Selected candidates will be entitled to only 8 general leaves during the academic session. No other leave or allowances are permitted beyond the salary.

Selection Process

Selection will be done based on your academic record and performance in the interview:

1. Academic Performance Evaluation: Your educational qualifications, research publications, and teaching experience will be assessed.
2. Seminar / Colloquium: The university may also conduct a seminar or colloquium as part of the selection process.
3. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
4. Document Verification: All original certificates and documents will be verified.

How to Apply

2. Fill in the application form (handwritten or typed on A4 size paper).
3. Paste a passport-size colour photograph on the application (do not staple or pin it).
4. Make the application fee payment via bank transfer to the given bank account and attach the receipt.
5. Attach self-attested copies of all relevant certificates, publications, experience letters, caste certificates (if applicable), and non-creamy layer certificate.
6. Fill in Proforma A (available with the application form) and attach it.
7. Submit one complete set of the application along with all enclosures to the Establishment Section, Laxminarayan Innovation Technological University, Opp. Bharat Nagar, Amravati Road, Nagpur - 440033.
8. Applications must reach the university on or before 06 April 2026 by 5:00 PM.

• Teach assigned MBA subjects as per the approved curriculum and academic calendar

• Evaluate student assignments, projects, internal assessments, and semester examinations
• Guide MBA students in their dissertation work and industry projects
• Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental meetings
• Conduct research and contribute to academic publications in management journals
• Assist in organising seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and industry interaction events
