MECON Limited Junior Engineer & Junior Officer Recruitment 2026

MECON Limited, a Premier Miniratna Category-I PSU under the Ministry of Steel, is looking to bring 44 experienced professionals on board as Junior Engineers and Junior Officers. If you hold a Diploma or Degree with solid industry experience, this is your chance to join one of India's leading engineering consultancy organizations with a competitive PSU pay package.

• 25 out of 44 openings are for Civil Engineering diploma holders, making this the largest chunk of vacancies
• All posts fall under the E-0 grade with a pay scale of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 1,20,000 plus generous PSU allowances
• You need a minimum of 16 years of relevant post-qualification experience in full-time employment as on 02 February 2026
• Mechanical Engineer roles require hands-on experience in hydrocarbon industry projects such as refineries, LPG plants, petroleum pipelines, and petrochemical facilities
• Civil roles demand experience in design, site supervision, and construction of building and industrial projects
• HR and Admin officer positions are open to graduates from any discipline, including those who studied through distance learning

• Execute engineering consultancy, design, and project management tasks for industrial and infrastructure projects across India
• Supervise construction activities at project sites including refineries, steel plants, petrochemical facilities, and power plants
• Prepare engineering drawings, estimates, and technical specifications for assigned projects
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and client representatives to ensure project milestones are met
• Maintain quality standards and safety compliance at construction and project sites
• Handle HR or administrative functions including recruitment support, employee records, and office coordination (for JO posts)
