Who Can Apply?

  • You must hold a BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) degree from a university established by law and recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).
  • You must be registered with the Rajya Ayurvedic Board Parishad Madhya Pradesh (State Ayurvedic Board, MP).
  • Your internship must be completed on or before the application closing date of 12 April 2026, and you must hold a permanent live registration with the MP Ayurvedic Unani Prakritik Chikitsa Board.

Freshers with a BAMS degree are welcome — no prior work experience is required. Candidates from other states will be treated as unreserved (General) category regardless of their caste certificate.

Age Limit

Your age is calculated as on 01 January 2026. You must have completed 21 years and must not have completed 40 years on that date. The absolute upper age limit after any relaxation is 45 years — no candidate above 45 is eligible under any circumstances.

Your actual take-home salary will depend on DA, HRA, and other allowances applicable at the time of joining as per MP Government rules. Deductions like NPS (National Pension System) contribution and income tax will also apply. The pay scale goes up to Rs. 1,77,500 as you move through higher pay levels with promotions and increments.

Selection Process

Selection happens in three stages. You need to clear each stage to move to the next:

  1. Written Exam (OMR-based): An objective-type written examination using OMR answer sheets. Negative marking applies.
  2. Interview: Candidates scoring in the top 3 times the number of advertised posts (category-wise) in the written exam will be called for an interview. Document verification happens at this stage.
  3. Final Merit: Final selection is based on the combined marks of written exam and interview.

The exam will be held offline (OMR-based, read by optical scanner) at four centers: Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, and Jabalpur. MP domicile candidates can choose 2 preferred centers. Candidates from other states will be assigned Indore only.
