Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have an MBBS degree from a university recognized under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 (or any statutory university).

Age Limit

Salary

• Selected Medical Officers will receive a salary in the range of Rs. 56,100 to Rs. 1,77,500 per month under Pay Scale S-20.
• You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA), and other allowances as per Maharashtra Government rules.
• The total in-hand salary with all allowances can be significantly higher than the basic pay.

Selection Process

The selection for MPSC Medical Officer (Group-B) posts will be based on a screening test and interview process:

• Provide outpatient and inpatient medical care to patients at government medical colleges and hospitals
• Conduct clinical examinations, diagnose illnesses, and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Assist senior doctors and professors during surgeries, ward rounds, and emergency duties
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation as per hospital protocols
• Participate in teaching and training of medical students and interns at the college
• Work in shifts including night duty, emergency duty, and on-call duty as assigned
• Follow infection control guidelines and standard medical procedures at all times
• Contribute to public health programmes and medical camps organized by the state government
