NCC Tamil Nadu Store Attendant Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Department, Tamil Nadu operates under the Ministry of Defence and plays a vital role in training young cadets across the state. This recruitment is for 2 Store Attendant positions at NCC units located in Tiruchirappalli and Dindigul districts. No written exam is required for this recruitment, and selection will be done through shortlisting and interview. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed 8th Standard from a recognized school or its equivalent.
• Category: This notification is open for Scheduled Tribe (ST) category candidates only. Candidates belonging to the Category/Community notified in the newspaper advertisement shall alone apply.
• Posting: Selected candidates may be posted at any NCC unit in the districts of Tamil Nadu.

Age Limit

Your age will be calculated as on 01 July 2026.

• SC, SC(A), ST: Minimum 18 years, Maximum 37 years
• MBC/DC, BC, BCM (all castes): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 34 years
• General (Others): Minimum 18 years, Maximum 32 years
• Ex-Servicemen (SC/ST/BC/MBC): Must not have completed 53 years
• Ex-Servicemen (General): Must not have completed 48 years

Age relaxation is as per G.O.Ms.No.91, Human Resources Management (S) Department dated 13 Sep 2021. Candidates with higher qualifications than the minimum prescribed may refer to Section 20(8) of the Tamil Nadu Government Servants (Conditions of Service) Act, 2016 for age limit applicability.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 15,900 to Rs. 50,400 per month under Level 2 of the pay matrix.
• You will also receive DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Tamil Nadu Government rules.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: Applications received will be screened and eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their qualifications and documents.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview. Your performance in the interview will determine your final selection.

• Manage and maintain inventory of stores, equipment and supplies at the NCC unit
• Keep accurate records of all items received, issued and returned
• Assist in organizing and arranging storage areas to ensure proper upkeep
• Handle loading, unloading and physical movement of stores and materials
• Prepare stock registers and submit periodic inventory reports to senior officers
• Follow safety and security protocols for the storage of government property
• Work with NCC staff during camps, parades and training events as required
