NCRTC Sr. Deputy General Manager (HR) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is a Joint Venture of the Government of India and participating State Governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh. It operates under the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and is responsible for implementing the Namo Bharat Project — a dedicated high-speed, rail-based regional commuter service connecting nodes across the National Capital Region. The Delhi-Meerut corridor is already operational, with Delhi-Gurugram-SNB-Alwar and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal corridors coming next. This is a senior HR leadership role where you will drive people strategy for one of India's most ambitious transport infrastructure projects.
Who Can Apply?
- Essential Qualification: You need an MBA (HR), PG Degree in Management (HR), or PG Diploma in Management (HR) or its equivalent. The course must be full-time from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved institution.
- Experience: You need a minimum of 11 years of post-qualification experience at E2/L9 level or above in CPSEs, PSUs, Central Government, or State Government organizations.
- Current Pay Scale (CDA): You should have at least 3 years of service in pay scale Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 (Level 12) or above.
- Current Pay Scale (IDA): You should be in pay scale Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 (E5) or above, OR have at least 3 years of service in pay scale Rs. 70,000-2,00,000 (E4).
- Employment Status: Only candidates currently working in Government entities, CPSEs, or SPSEs in regular capacity are eligible. Contract or ad-hoc employees are not eligible.
- Dual Specialization: If your degree has dual specialization, one of the specializations must be HR.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 45 years as on 19 March 2026.
- Only Indian Nationals above 18 years of age are eligible.
Salary
- Pay Scale: Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 2,20,000 per month (IDA) at Level E5.
- You will also get HRA/Lease, Variable Dearness Allowance (VDA), and Perks and Allowances under Cafeteria Approach.
- Other benefits and allowances as per NCRTC company rules.
Selection Process
- Document Verification: Your original certificates will be verified before the interview. If documents are not in order, you will not be allowed to attend the interview.
- Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for an interview. The venue, date, and time will be communicated in advance. The minimum qualifying marks in the interview is 60%.
The final merit list will be prepared based on interview scores. There is no written examination for this post.

Service Bond
If selected, you will need to sign a Service Bond of Rs. 2 Lakhs plus GST (and training costs, if any) to serve NCRTC for a minimum of 2 years. You will also undergo a probation period as per company policy.
Responsibilities
- Handle labour laws compliance, service regulations, and disciplinary matters across the organization.
- Work on HRM concepts, tools, and practices including manpower planning, performance management, career planning, and succession planning.
- Manage competency modelling and competency appraisal frameworks for employees.
- Handle industrial relations matters and maintain a healthy work environment.
- Manage performance appraisal systems including KRAs and APARs, handle employee grievances, and conduct disciplinary actions.
- Prepare and manage the HR budget and assist in administrative, procurement, and tendering procedures.
- Lead implementation and adoption of ERP/SAP systems for HR processes.
- Drive HR practices and policies related to talent retention and attrition management.

Experience in ERP/SAP implementation, industrial relations, and competency-based HR frameworks
