National Handloom Development Corporation Limited (NHDC) is a Public Sector Undertaking under the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. It works as a national-level agency for the development of the handloom sector across the country, handling everything from raw material supply to marketing support and technology upgrades for weavers. To strengthen its Human Resources Department, NHDC has invited applications for 1 Senior Officer (HR) post on a regular employment basis through advertisement number NHDC/HR/DR/26/1. Essential Qualification
- Option 1 (Master's Degree): MBA with specialization in Personnel Management or HR / Master of Industrial Relations & Personnel Management (MIRPM) / Master of Personnel Management (MPM) / Master of Social Work (MSW) from a UGC-recognized university.
- Option 2 (PG Diploma): Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations / Human Resource Development from a UGC-recognized university.
Desirable Qualification
- A Degree in Law will be preferred.
- Working knowledge of computers, including MS Office and internet usage, is desirable.
Experience Requirements
- For Master's Degree holders (MBA/MIRPM/MPM/MSW): Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in Personnel & Administration or Human Resource Management, out of which at least 2 years should be in the pay scale of Rs. 22,500-80,000 (IDA) or its equivalent.
- For PG Diploma holders: Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Personnel & Administration or HR Management, out of which at least 3 years should be in the pay scale of Rs. 22,500-80,000 (IDA) or its equivalent.
- Experience should be from: Central Government, State Government, PSU, or reputed private sector organizations.
- Private sector candidates: Your minimum CTC should not be less than Rs. 6,80,012 per year for at least 4 years of service. Performance-linked incentives and bonuses of any type are excluded from this CTC calculation.
Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply for this post.
Age Limit
- Maximum age: 35 years as on 01 March 2026.
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS/Ex-Servicemen candidates will get age relaxation as per Government of India directives.
- Internal candidates (NHDC employees): 5 years relaxation over the prescribed age limit, provided they have been in service for at least 3 years.
Salary
- Pay Scale: Rs. 27,000 - 95,000 (IDA)
- Gross Pay: Approximately Rs. 58,968 per month at the minimum of basic pay.
- Gross pay includes Basic + DA + HRA + CA (City Allowance).
- Additional Benefits: Medical Reimbursement, Gratuity, Leave Encashment, Conveyance Loan and other fringe benefits as per NHDC rules.
- Exceptionally deserving candidates may receive additional increments at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

Selection Process
- Written Test: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written examination.
- Group Discussion: Candidates who clear the written test will appear for a group discussion round.
Both the Written Test and Group Discussion will be held at NHDC Registered & Corporate Office, Noida (UP) only. If applications are received in large numbers, NHDC may shortlist a maximum of 10 applicants per vacancy based on higher qualification merit. Candidates with a Master's degree will be given priority over diploma holders during shortlisting.

Responsibilities
- Handle all human resource management functions including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and employee welfare activities for the corporation.
- Manage personnel administration tasks such as service records maintenance, leave management, attendance monitoring, and establishment matters.
- Prepare and implement HR policies, standard operating procedures, and guidelines in line with government directives and corporate requirements.
- Assist in industrial relations matters including handling grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and maintaining harmonious employee-management relations.
- Work on manpower planning, cadre review, and organizational restructuring proposals as required by the management.
- Keep records updated in compliance with government regulations, CDA rules, and statutory requirements under various labour laws.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence related to HR matters for senior management and the Ministry of Textiles.
