NIMHANS Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bangalore, has invited applications for 1 Senior Research Fellow position for the project titled "Development and Implementation of Certificate Course in Suicide Prevention for the Armed Forces," funded by 16 CORPS. The project is under Dr. K S Meena, Professor and Head of the Department of Mental Health Education. This is a walk-in selection with written test and interview, so you do not need to fill any online application form. Salary
- Selected candidates will receive Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated).
- The project duration is 15 months. Your initial appointment will be for 6 months, extendable based on your performance until the project ends.

Selection Process
The selection will be done through a walk-in process with 2 stages:
- Written Test: You must score a minimum of 50% in the written examination to qualify for the next stage.
- Interview: Candidates who clear the written test will be called for the interview. For direct interview (if applicable), you must score at least 50% marks.

Responsibilities
- Resolve real-time audio, visual, or connectivity issues to ensure seamless live training sessions
- Design effective online assessment tools including quizzes, peer-graded assignments, and practical projects to measure learning outcomes
- Work closely with the Principal Investigator and Co-Principal Investigators in developing modules and education videos on suicide prevention
- Manage and maintain e-learning platforms such as Moodle for course delivery
- Create interactive multimedia presentations, screen recordings, and professionally edited videos
- Coordinate live-streaming sessions and virtual meetings using MS Teams or Google Meet
- Prepare documentation, reports, and progress updates for the project team
