NLC India Limited (NLCIL) Industrial Trainee (Finance) Recruitment 2026 - 56 Slots

NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a premier Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, has announced the engagement of Industrial Trainees in the Finance discipline under Advertisement No. O6/2026. A total of 56 training slots are available across seven project locations and offices, with Neyveli Units offering the highest number of slots. There is no written exam or interview for this engagement. Your CA or CMA Intermediate exam marks will decide the selection. If you have recently cleared your CA Inter or CMA Inter and want hands-on industrial training at a Navratna PSU, this is an excellent opportunity.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You must have passed the Intermediate Examination of Chartered Accountant (CA) conducted by ICAI, OR the Intermediate Examination of Cost and Management Accountant (CMA) conducted by ICMAI.
• Registration: You must be registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
• Exclusion: If you have already completed training under a similar scheme for one year or more at any other organization, you cannot apply.
• Nationality: Only Indian nationals are eligible.

Note: This notification is open to all eligible candidates regardless of the year in which they passed the CA/CMA Intermediate examination.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for UR/EWS: 28 years as on 01 March 2026.
• Maximum age for OBC (NCL): 31 years
• Maximum age for SC/ST: 33 years
• PwBD Relaxation: 10 years for UR PwBD, 13 years for OBC-NCL PwBD, 15 years for SC/ST PwBD.
• Ex-Servicemen: Age relaxation as per Government of India rules.
• In all cases of relaxation, the overall maximum age limit is 58 years.

Stipend

• Selected trainees will receive a monthly stipend of Rs. 22,000 (Rupees Twenty Two Thousand only) per month.
• Besides the stipend, you may get residential accommodation (unfurnished) on sharing basis at nominal rent, subject to availability.
• Free OPD treatment at company-owned dispensaries and hospitals where available.
• No TA/DA is payable. You will need to bring your own laptop.

Note: This is a 12-month training engagement and does not entitle you to permanent or temporary employment in NLCIL.

Application Fee

• There is no application fee for this engagement. All categories can apply free of cost.

Selection Process

1. Merit-Based Selection: Your selection will be purely based on the percentage of marks you scored in the Intermediate Examination of CA or CMA. No written test, skill test, or interview will be conducted.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates will need to appear for document verification with all original certificates and two sets of self-attested photocopies.
3. Medical Fitness: You will need to produce a Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Registered Medical Practitioner at the time of document verification.

Preference will be given to Project Affected Persons (PAPs) of NLCIL, everything else being equal. In case reserved category slots remain unfilled due to unavailability of eligible candidates, those slots may be filled from unreserved or other reserved categories.

How to Apply

2. Click on the Apply Online link for Advt. No. O6/2026 (Industrial Trainee - Finance).
3. Register as a new user with your name, email ID, and fill the security expression. You will receive your Login ID and Password on the registered email.
4. Log in with your credentials and fill the online application form with your personal and educational details.
5. Upload scanned self-attested copies of all required documents in the specified format and file size.
6. Review all details using the "view document" option to ensure uploaded documents are legible.
7. Submit your application. A Registration-Cum-Application Form will be generated. Take a printout for future reference.

No manual or paper applications will be accepted. Make sure your email ID remains valid throughout the selection process.

• Work on day-to-day financial accounting, bookkeeping, and voucher processing activities assigned by the finance department.
• Assist senior finance professionals with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle accounts receivable and payable entries, bank reconciliation, and ledger maintenance under supervision.
• Prepare and maintain statutory compliance records for GST, TDS, and other tax filings as directed.
• Assist in internal and external audit activities by compiling data, documents, and reports as required.
• Manage documentation and filing of invoices, payment vouchers, and other financial records.
• Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality of financial data, and adhere to working hours and discipline requirements.
