Ordnance Factory Ambajhari Assistant Executive (Finance & Accounts) Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Ordnance Factory Ambajhari (OFAJ), Nagpur is a Production Unit under the control of Yantra India Limited (YIL), a Defence Public Sector Undertaking incorporated under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The factory has vast core competency and expertise in manufacturing ammunition hardware. OFAJ is looking for a dynamic and achievement-oriented finance professional to work as Assistant Executive (Finance & Accounts) on a fixed-term contract basis for 2 years, extendable up to 4 years based on performance. This is a good opportunity for CA/CMA Inter-qualified professionals who have at least one year of hands-on experience in financial management and accounting.

Who Can Apply?

Essential Educational Qualification:

  • 12th Pass (HSSC): You must have passed HSSC with a minimum of 60% marks
  • Professional Qualification: You must have passed the Intermediate Chartered Accountancy exam or the Intermediate Cost & Management Accountancy exam

Post Qualification Experience:

  • You need at least 1 year of relevant experience after your professional qualification in areas such as:
  • Financial management, Indian Accounting Standards (Ind-AS), Accounting, Audit
  • Cost and Budgetary Control, Working Capital Management, Taxation, Treasury Management
  • Tender Evaluation, Vetting of Contracts
  • You should be well versed with working in a computerized environment
  • You must be well conversant with Tally software

Nationality:

  • You must be a Citizen of India

Age Limit

  • Maximum age: 40 years (as on 01 January 2026)

Salary

  • First 2 years: Rs. 45,000/- per month (fixed, consolidated)
  • 3rd and 4th year: Rs. 55,000/- per month (fixed, consolidated)

  • No HRA will be payable under any circumstances
  • Paid leave: 1.5 days per completed month of service
  • During official tours, hotel charges and local conveyance will be equivalent to Level-7 officers of YIL

Working Hours & Conditions

  • Working hours will follow the office timings of OFAJ: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • You may be asked to work on Sundays or holidays during exigencies, with no additional compensation
  • No other assignment or consultancy is permitted during the contract period
  • You will need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement and maintain strict confidentiality of YIL data

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Executive(s) in looking after overall activities related to Finance and Accounts of the unit
  • Maintain books of accounts including accounting and consolidation at respective units, and prepare periodical reports and returns as per Ind-AS and Companies Act 2013
  • Pass and verify accounting entries related to receipt, payment, expenses, revenue and sales on a periodic basis
  • Coordinate with concerned units under YIL/YIL-HQ on discrepancies noticed in accounting entries
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and assist in finalization of monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual financial statements including Notes to Accounts
  • Coordinate with all units under YIL/YIL-HQ for reconciliation of accounts and final compilation
  • Coordinate with auditors and ensure timely completion of Statutory Audit and ad-hoc audits by banks, financial institutions or government
  • Handle all activities related to Income Tax, GST, Professional Tax and any other direct or indirect tax work
  • Assist in filling up financial data on Ministry website/dashboard and prepare reports for government and financial institutions
