Oil India Limited (OIL) Domain Expert Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna Central Public Sector Undertaking and India's second largest national upstream Oil & Gas company, is looking to empanel a Domain Expert for its Pipeline sphere. OIL operates nearly 1,899 km of hydrocarbon pipelines across Assam, West Bengal, and Bihar, including the 1,157 km Naharkatiya-Barauni Crude Oil Trunk Pipeline. This is a call-basis engagement for retired senior professionals who can bring strategic and technical expertise to OIL's cross-country pipeline operations. The empanelment period is 2 years with up to 100 working days per year.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Graduate degree in Engineering (minimum 4-year program) from a recognized college, university, or institution.
• Industry Background: You must have retired from a leading Oil & Gas industry company.
• Experience: At least 30 years of service in Oil & Gas industries with working experience at Senior or Board Level positions in cross-country pipelines (Oil & Gas).
• Pipeline Management: You must have experience directing a team for managing petroleum pipelines of minimum 10,000 km.
• Desirable Skills: Pipeline project execution from concept to commissioning, pipeline integrity management, corrosion monitoring, PNGRB regulatory expertise, HSE knowledge, forest and environmental clearance experience, and stakeholder management.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 68 years as on 10 April 2026.
• You must have at least 2 remaining years before reaching the maximum permissible age of 70 years at the time of application.

Honorarium

• CMD/MD/Directors level: Rs 20,000 per day
• EDs/CGM/GGM/GMs/Professor or equivalent: Rs 15,000 per day
• DGMs/Associate Professor or equivalent: Rs 10,000 per day
• Travel, local conveyance, boarding and lodging will be arranged by OIL as per regular executive entitlements.
• No other facilities will be provided by OIL beyond the above.

Selection Process

• Mentor and support team development in pipeline operations and HSE (Health, Safety, Security and Environment)
