RITES Retired Employees Contract Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

Rail India Technical and Economic Service Limited (RITES), a Navratna Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, needs retired professionals from Government and PSU organizations for the Haryana Orbital Rail Corridor (HORC) project. This project covers the rail corridor from Palwal to Sonipat via Sohna, Manesar, and Kharkhoda. No written exam is required -- selection is based on your CV and professional experience. If you are a retired engineer or geologist with strong infrastructure project experience, this is your chance to contribute to a landmark railway project.

Who Can Apply?

Senior Contract Expert (VC 11/26E)

• Essential: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
• Preferred: Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering, plus Certification in Project Management or Construction Management
• Experience: At least 7 years (for Degree holders) or 10 years (for Diploma holders) of total professional experience
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 4 years (Degree) or 6 years (Diploma) in procurement strategy, tender documents, bid process management, and managing contracts for Railway infrastructure projects

Deputy Project Director (VC 12/26E)

• Essential: Graduate degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering from a recognized university
• Preferred: Retired or Voluntary retired IRSEE officer of Indian Railway or equivalent railway systems
• Experience: At least 20 years of total professional experience
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 10 years handling Electrification projects of Railway, Metro Rail, or sub-urban rail, including procurement strategy and tender management
• Preference given to candidates with MDB financed project experience

Geotechnical Expert (VC 13/26E)

• Essential: M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized institution
• Experience: At least 10 years of total professional experience for Post Graduate Engineers
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 7 years carrying out geotechnical investigation works, preparing and reviewing geotechnical interpretation reports for Tunnels, Bridges, and other structures in Railway or Highway Infrastructure projects

Geologist (VC 14/26E)

• Essential: M.Sc. in Geology from a recognized institution
• Experience: At least 10 years of total professional experience for Post Graduate holders
• Relevant Experience: Minimum 7 years in geological investigations, preparation and interpretation of geological reports in Railway or Highway Infrastructure projects

Note: Only retired Government or PSU employees are eligible. Candidates who received major or minor penalties in the last 5 years of service are not eligible.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 63 years as on 31 March 2026

Salary

• The salary is negotiable and will be decided as per the policy of the company on approval of your CV by the client
• Engagement is initially for 1 year on a purely contractual basis, extendable based on mutual consent and satisfactory performance

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these posts. Selection will be based on:

1. CV Screening: Your CV will be reviewed against the eligibility criteria and experience requirements
2. Client Approval: Shortlisted CVs will be forwarded to the client (HORC project) for final approval
3. Document Verification: You will need to submit original documents for verification
