Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released Advertisement No. 03-Exam/2026 for 58 Trained Teacher posts in government schools for children with disabilities across Uttar Pradesh. These positions cover schools for hearing impaired, visually impaired, physically challenged, and mentally challenged students. Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and hold a valid scorecard are eligible to apply. Who Can Apply?

For Trained Teacher (Hearing Impaired Schools):

• Qualification: You must have passed Intermediate (12th) or equivalent from UP Board or a recognized Board.
• Special Education: You need a Diploma in Special Education (Hearing Impairment) from an RCI-recognized institution.
• Skills: Knowledge of reading and writing in Sign Language is required.
• Registration: You must be registered with Bhartiya Punarvas Parishad (Rehabilitation Council of India / RCI).

For Trained Craft (Music) Teacher (Visually Impaired Schools):

• Qualification: Intermediate with Music as a subject, or an equivalent Diploma in Music from a recognized institution.
• Special Education: Diploma in Special Education (Visual Impairment) from an RCI-recognized institution.
• Registration: Must be registered with RCI as a specialist teacher for visually impaired.

For Trained Teacher (Physically Challenged Schools):

• Qualification: Intermediate (12th) or equivalent from UP Board or a recognized Board.
• Special Education: Diploma in Special Education (Locomotor Disability/Cerebral Palsy) from an RCI-recognized institution.
• Registration: Must be registered with RCI.

For Other Posts (Visually Impaired / Mentally Challenged):

• Qualification: Intermediate (12th) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
• Special Education: Diploma in Special Education in the relevant disability area from an RCI-recognized institution.
• Registration: Must be registered with RCI.

Important: Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 (Preliminary Eligibility Test) and have a valid UPSSSC scorecard are eligible to apply for this recruitment.

Age Limit

• You should be at least 21 years old.
• Maximum age is 40 years as on 1 July 2026.
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation in upper age limit.
• OBC: 3 years relaxation in upper age limit.
• PwBD: 15 years relaxation in upper age limit.
• Ex-Servicemen: As per UP Government rules.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary of Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 1,12,400 per month under Pay Level 6 of the 7th Pay Commission.
• You will also get Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), Transport Allowance (TA) and other benefits as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.
• Your total take-home salary (including DA at current rates) will be approximately Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 60,000 per month at the entry level.

Application Fee

• General / OBC / SC / ST: Rs. 25 (Online Processing Fee only)
• There is no separate application fee for any category. All candidates pay only the Rs. 25 processing fee.
• Payment Mode: Online via Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking / UPI or SBI e-Challan.
• Note: A separate exam fee will be charged later from candidates shortlisted for the Main Exam.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025): You must have already appeared in PET-2025 conducted by UPSSSC and obtained a valid score. Shortlisting for the Main Exam is based on your normalized PET-2025 score. Candidates who scored zero or negative marks will not be shortlisted.
2. Main Written Examination: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a Main Exam. Your final selection will be based solely on the marks obtained in the Main Exam. There is negative marking of 0.25 marks (one-fourth) for each wrong answer.

2. Click on the "Live Advertisement" section and find Advertisement No. 03-Exam/2026.
3. Login using your PET-2025 Registration Number and the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.
4. Your personal details from PET-2025 will appear automatically. Verify them carefully.
5. Select the post(s) you want to apply for and fill in your educational qualification details.
6. Enter your preferences for posts and departments (allocation is based on merit and preference).
7. Review the declaration, tick the checkboxes, and proceed to fee payment.
8. Pay the Rs. 25 processing fee online.
9. After successful payment, your application will be submitted automatically. Download and print it for your records.

• Teach assigned subjects to students with disabilities using specialized teaching methods and tools
• Prepare individualized education plans (IEPs) based on each student's learning needs and abilities
