Selection Process

The selection method differs by post. For the Assessment-in-Charge role, there will be an OMR-based written test worth 200 marks (100 MCQs, 2 marks each) followed by a personality test of 40 marks. The written test has negative marking — you lose 1 mark for each wrong answer. For Medical Officer and Computer Assistant, the recruitment scheme and syllabus will be notified separately by the Commission.

1. Know the syllabus well — it covers General Knowledge, English, Current Affairs, and Mathematics at Madhyamik standard, plus your Diploma in Surveyorship coursework
2. Focus on Surveyorship subjects — this is what sets you apart from other competitive exams
3. Practice time management — you get 90 minutes for 100 questions, roughly 54 seconds per question
4. Watch out for negative marking — each wrong answer costs you 1 full mark, so avoid blind guessing
5. Revise current affairs from the last 6 months for the GK and Current Affairs section
