AIIMS Bathinda Deputation Recruitment 2026 - 40 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bathinda (AIIMS Bathinda) has invited applications from eligible government employees for 40 deputation posts across 28 different positions in Group A, B and C categories. This is a great opportunity for serving Central and State Government officers looking for a posting at one of India's premier medical institutions in Punjab. There is no written exam — shortlisting is based on bio-data and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Who Can Apply?

These are deputation posts, so you must be a serving government employee. Here is a summary of who can apply for each group:

Group A Posts (Level 10 to Level 13)

• You must be working in the Central/State Government, Universities, Statutory or Autonomous Bodies, Public Sector Undertakings, or Research and Development Organizations.
• You should be holding an analogous post on regular basis, OR have the required years of regular service in the specified grade pay (varies by post).
• Superintending Engineer: Executive Engineers with 5 years in Grade Pay Rs. 7,600 or 10 years in Grade Pay Rs. 6,600.
• Store Officer: Degree from a recognised university plus PG Diploma in Material Management, or Bachelor's in Material Management, or 3 years experience in store handling.

Group B Posts (Level 6 to Level 7)

• Officers under Central/State/UT Governments, Universities, Statutory or Autonomous Bodies holding analogous posts on regular basis.
• Or officers with 5 years of regular service in the specified lower grade (varies by post).
• Assistant Administrative Officer: Degree from recognised university. Desirable: MBA/PG Diploma in Management, knowledge of Government Rules, proficiency in Computers.
• Senior Optometrist: B.Sc. in Ophthalmic Techniques with 8 years of experience.
• Junior Admin Officer: Degree from recognised university with proficiency in computers.

Group C Posts (Level 4 to Level 5)

• Senior Administrative Assistant: Degree from recognised university, proficiency in computers, plus skill test norm (same as Lower Division Clerk).
• Dental Technician (Hygiene/Mechanic): Diploma/Certificate in Dental Hygiene or Dental Mechanic with 5 years of experience, or 7 years regular service in the grade.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 56 years as on the last date of receipt of application (04 April 2026).
• This is a standard age limit for deputation posts in Central Government institutions.

Salary

Since these are deputation posts, your salary will depend on your current pay level. Here are the entry pay figures for each level under the 7th CPC:

• Level 13: Rs. 1,23,100 per month (Superintending Engineer)
• Level 11: Rs. 67,700 per month (Executive Engineer, Clinical Embryologist, Nursing Superintendent)
• Level 10: Rs. 56,100 per month (Administrative Officer, Account Officer, Deputy Nursing Superintendent, Fire Officer, Security Officer, Store Officer)
• Level 7: Rs. 44,900 per month (Assistant Engineers, Technical Officers, Assistant Officers, Senior Optometrist)
• Level 6: Rs. 35,400 per month (Assistant Fire Officer, Junior Admin Officer, Office Superintendent, PA, Sr. Pharmacist, Lab Technician)
• Level 5: Rs. 29,200 per month (Dental Technicians)
• Level 4: Rs. 25,500 per month (Senior Administrative Assistant)

You will also receive DA, HRA, and other allowances as admissible to Central Government employees stationed at AIIMS Bathinda.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these deputation posts. Selection will happen in 2 stages:

1. Bio-data Shortlisting: Candidates will be shortlisted based on their bio-data, qualifications, and experience.
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview at AIIMS Bathinda.

Note: Meeting the minimum eligibility does not guarantee selection. The decision of the Competent Authority is final.
