All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications for temporary positions under the ICMR-funded project titled "Integration of plasma and tissue-derived small-extracellular vesicle proteomic signatures with clinical outcomes to identify prognostic biomarkers for neoadjuvant chemoradiotherapy response in locally advanced rectal cancer" (Project Code I-1986). The project is based in the Department of Pathology under the guidance of Prof. Prasenjit Das as Principle Investigator. Who Can Apply?

For Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical):

• Qualification: You need a Post Graduate Degree, including integrated PG degrees, in Life Sciences or Biomedical Sciences from a recognized university.
• Desirable: 2 years of experience in molecular biology will give you an edge during shortlisting.

For Project Technical Support III:

• Qualification: You need a three-year Graduate degree in Life Science with at least three years of post-qualification experience, OR a Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject or field.
• Desirable: Three years of post-qualification work experience in a related area is preferred.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for both posts: 35 years.
• Age relaxation is available for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories as per Government of India norms.

Salary

• Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical): Rs 56,000 + 30% HRA = Rs 72,800 per month (consolidated, as per ICMR rules).
• Project Technical Support III: Rs 28,000 + 30% HRA = Rs 36,400 per month (consolidated, as per ICMR rules).

Selection Process

Selection will be done in 2 stages:

1. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates based on their CV and qualifications will be contacted.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. Details regarding the interview date and venue will be shared via email.

There is no written exam for these positions.
