Who Can Apply?

For Medical Candidates (Senior Residents):

• Qualification: You need a postgraduate medical degree — MD / MS / DNB / DM / M.Ch. / Ph.D. in the relevant specialty from a recognized university or institute.
• Registration: You must hold a valid Permanent or Provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/NMC, DCI, or State Medical/Dental Council.
• Completion: Your qualifying degree result must be declared on or before 15 April 2026, and tenure must be completing by the same date.
• Residency Limit: If you have already completed 3 years of Senior Residency under the Central Residency Scheme, you are not eligible.

For Non-Medical Candidates (Demonstrators — Anatomy):

• Qualification: You need an M.Sc. or M.Biotech degree in the subject concerned, plus a Ph.D. in the relevant or allied subject from a recognized university or institute.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 45 years as on the last date of filling of online application form (15 April 2026).
• No minimum age specified.
• Age Relaxation:
• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years
• PwBD (General category): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC category): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST category): 15 years
• Ex-Serviceman / Government servants: 5 years additional relaxation

Salary

• Medical Candidates: Pay Level 11 — Rs 67,700 per month (entry pay) with other usual allowances
• Non-Medical Candidates (M.Sc. with Ph.D.): Pay Level 10 — Rs 56,100 per month (entry pay) with other usual allowances
• You will also get DA, HRA, NPA (for medical), and other allowances as per Central Government rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC: Rs 1,500 (non-refundable)
• SC / ST / EWS: Rs 1,000 (non-refundable)
• PwBD: No fee

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely based on interview — there is no written examination.

1. Document Verification: Your original certificates will be checked by the Scrutiny Committee on the day of interview. Only candidates who pass scrutiny will proceed to the interview.
2. Interview (100 marks): The interview carries 100 marks. Separate merit lists will be prepared for SC, ST, OBC, UR, and EWS categories based on interview marks.

Tie-breaking: If two candidates score the same marks, the older candidate (earlier date of birth) will be ranked higher.

Note: You can apply for only one specialty. If you want to apply for multiple specialties, you must fill separate application forms and pay separate fees.

3. Keep your scanned documents ready: proof of date of birth, MBBS/BDS/M.Sc./Ph.D. degree, PG degree, medical registration certificate, category certificate, passport photo, signature, and thumb impression.
4. Fill in the online application form carefully — no changes are allowed after submission.
5. Upload your photograph (colour, white background, JPG/JPEG/GIF/PNG format).
6. Upload your signature (clear, on white background, no initials or capital letters).
7. Pay the application fee online.
8. Submit and take a printout of the application form.
9. Self-attest every page including attachments and bring the printout to the interview for submission to the Scrutiny Committee.

In-service candidates must apply through proper channel or produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer on the day of interview.

• Provide patient care in the assigned department under supervision of faculty members
• Assist in clinical procedures, surgeries, and ward rounds as required by the specialty
• Maintain accurate medical records, case histories, and discharge summaries
• Participate in teaching and training of undergraduate medical students and interns
• Handle emergency cases and manage patients in the OPD and IPD
• Conduct laboratory demonstrations and practical sessions (for Demonstrator posts)
• Prepare academic presentations and contribute to research projects of the department
• Follow hospital protocols, safety guidelines, and infection control measures
