AIIMS Jammu Technician & DEO Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Vijaypur, Jammu has invited applications for 2 project posts on a purely contractual basis under the project titled "Bharat Health Initiative for Sahyog, Hita and Maitri (BHISHM)", funded by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare under the Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). These are temporary positions for one year or until the project ends, whichever comes first. Interviews will be held on 07 April 2026 at AIIMS Vijaypur, Jammu.

Who Can Apply?

For Technician (Radiological Imaging):

• Option 1: B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Techniques from a recognised institute + 2 years experience as a Radiographer
• Option 2: Diploma in Radiological Imaging Techniques from a recognised institute + 3 years experience as a Radiographer
• Option 3: B.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology from a recognised institute + 2 years experience as a Medical Technician

For Data Entry Operator (DEO):

• Qualification: Graduate with a Diploma in Computer Applications
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a health programme
• Working knowledge of computer applications, filing, indexing, drafting, and document management

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 32 years as on the last date of application (05 April 2026)
• This age limit applies to both Technician and DEO posts

Salary

• Technician (Radiological Imaging): Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated)
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• No additional allowances — the consolidated salary is the total pay. No DA, HRA, or other benefits of regular AIIMS employees will apply.

• There is no fee exemption for any category

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

There is no written exam for these posts. Selection will be based on:

1. Document Verification: Your certificates, experience letters, and identity documents will be verified on the day of the interview
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an in-person interview at AIIMS Vijaypur, Jammu

• Assist in operating medical equipment such as X-ray machines, ECG machines, and other diagnostic devices
• Conduct monthly checks of battery-operated and diagnostic equipment including RFID-tagged devices
• Support laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as per medical requirements
• Collect, label, and prepare biological samples for testing or analysis
• Enter, update, and manage data accurately in prescribed systems and formats
• Maintain records, logs, and databases in an organised and accessible manner
• Support the maintenance, deployment, operation, and demobilization of BHISHM Cubes as per SOPs
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports to support clinical, administrative, and operational needs
