AIIMS Jammu Technician & Data Entry Operator Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Vijaypur, Jammu — an Institute of National Importance under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare — has invited applications for 2 project posts on a purely contractual basis. These positions are part of the BHISHM project funded under Pradhan Mantri Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM). The contract is for one year or until project completion, whichever comes first. Selection will be through interview only — there is no written exam. Who Can Apply?

For Technician (Rs. 40,000/month):

• Option 1: B.Sc. in Radiological Imaging Techniques from a recognised institute + 2 years experience as Radiographer
• Option 2: Diploma in Radiological Imaging Techniques from a recognised institute + 3 years experience as Radiographer
• Option 3: B.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology from a recognised institute + 2 years experience as Medical Technician

For Data Entry Operator (Rs. 30,000/month):

• Qualification: Graduate with a Diploma in Computer Applications
• Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a health programme
• Skills: Working knowledge of computer applications, filing, indexing, drafting, and document management

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 32 years as on the last date of application (05 April 2026)

Salary

• Technician: Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated)
• Data Entry Operator: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
• No additional allowances — the consolidated amount is the total pay. No benefits available to regular AIIMS employees will apply.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on interview only:

1. Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview. Submitting an application does not guarantee an interview call.
2. Interview: In-person interview at Academic Block, 6th Floor, AIIMS, Vijaypur, Jammu on 07 April 2026 (tentative).
3. Document Verification: Will be carried out on the same day as the interview. You must bring all original documents.

• Operate and maintain medical equipment such as X-ray machines, ECG machines, and other diagnostic devices
• Conduct monthly checks of battery-operated and diagnostic equipment including RFID-tagged devices
• Assist in performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures as per medical requirements
• Collect, label, and prepare biological samples for testing or analysis
• Enter, update, and manage data accurately in prescribed systems and formats
• Maintain records, logs, and databases in an organised and accessible manner
• Support the maintenance, deployment, operation, and demobilisation of BHISHM Cubes as per SOPs
• Generate routine and ad hoc reports for clinical, administrative, and operational needs
