The Department of Education, District Panchayat, Diu (under the UT Administration of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu) has invited applications for 1 PM POSHAN Coordinator post for Diu District. This is a walk-in interview — there is no online application or written exam. The post is purely on a short-term contract basis under the PM POSHAN (Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman) Scheme. Graduates with a postgraduate degree in management or social work, plus 2 years of work experience, can apply.

Who Can Apply?

  • Postgraduation: You must also have an M.B.A. or M.S.W. degree from a recognised university.

  • Age Relaxation: Reservation, age relaxation and other concessions will be given as per the orders of the Central Government from time to time.

Salary

  • You will get a consolidated remuneration of Rs. 25,300 per month.
  • This is a fixed monthly amount under short-term contract — no extra DA, HRA or allowances.

Selection Process

Selection is through a walk-in interview only. There is no written exam.

  1. Walk-in Interview: You must attend the interview at the Chamber of the Chief Executive Officer, District Panchayat, Diu on 21 May 2026 from 11:00 AM.
  2. Document Verification: You must bring all your original certificates for educational and professional qualifications, experience proof, age proof and other relevant documents. Candidates who fail to produce complete documents will be rejected.

Important: No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of the PM POSHAN (Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman) Scheme in Diu District
  • Monitor mid-day meal distribution at government and aided schools
  • Maintain records of food grain receipts, utilisation and student coverage
  • Prepare monthly progress reports and submit them to the Education Office
  • Verify cook-cum-helper attendance and process honorarium payments
  • Inspect schools to check food quality, hygiene and meal portion sizes
  • Liaise with school heads, FCI godowns and the District Education Officer
  • Handle data entry on the PM POSHAN portal and other computerised reporting systems

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Graduation (B.A./B.Com./B.Sc./B.B.A./B.C.A.) plus PG (M.B.A./M.S.W.) from a recognised university, 6-month computer certificate, and proficiency in English, Hindi and Gujarati

Preferred Qualification

Working experience in similar schemes or projects (e.g. PM POSHAN, Mid-Day Meal, ICDS)

Required Skills

Reading, writing and speaking proficiency in English, Hindi and Gujarati; basic computer operations; record-keeping; coordination and reporting

18 - 30 years (as on 01 May 2026)
