ESIC Faridabad Medical Officer Ayurveda Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India, runs a network of hospitals and medical colleges across the country. ESIC Medical College & Hospital at NIT-3, Faridabad (Haryana) has received sanction to set up a Panchakarma Unit and is now filling the post of Medical Officer (Ayurveda) to head this unit. This is a contract position and will continue until a regular appointment is made through recruitment rules or the contract period ends, whichever is earlier.

Who Can Apply?

You need the following to be eligible for this post:

• Educational Qualification: BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university
• Preferred Qualification: Post-graduate degree in Ayurveda (MD Ayurveda / MS Ayurveda) — candidates with PG qualification get preference
• Registration: Must be registered with the Central Council of Indian Medicine or the relevant State Council of Indian Medicine
• Experience: Experience in Panchakarma or Ayurvedic practice from a government or reputed private institution is preferred

Salary

• Pay: Consolidated salary as per ESIC norms for contractual Medical Officer (Ayurveda) positions
• Comparable ESIC positions: Medical Officer (Ayurveda) posts at ESIC hospitals typically offer Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 75,000 per month (consolidated) depending on working hours and location

Selection Process

• Provide Ayurvedic medical consultation and Panchakarma therapy to patients at the ESIC Hospital Panchakarma Unit
• Prepare treatment plans based on Ayurvedic diagnosis and supervise Panchakarma procedures
• Work with Panchakarma Technicians and Attendants to deliver quality Ayurvedic healthcare services
• Maintain proper medical records, case histories, and treatment documentation for all patients
• Follow ESIC protocols, guidelines, and standard operating procedures for patient care
• Assist in training and guiding medical students and interns in Ayurvedic medicine and Panchakarma
• Manage inventory of Ayurvedic medicines and Panchakarma supplies required for the unit
